Kat (katzombie) | 2478 comments I have far too many series that I'm one book from finishing. And some others that I own the whole lot and have not read (the shame).

Scoring:

Trilogy = 30 pts base
Four book series = 40 pts
Five book series = 50 pts
Six book series = 60 pts
Seven book series = 70 pts
Eight book series = 80 pts
Nine book series = 90 pts
Ten or more book series = 100 pts

Each series has an assigned point value based on the number of books in the series. In addition, 5 points will be awarded for every book started and finished in the level.

When you start the next level, you start at zero points. You may not carry points over. It's as if you are starting the challenge for level one, with a bunch of unfinished series.

Series to finish
As the World Dies by Rhiannon Frater (2/3 read)
Ashfall by Mike Mullin (2/3 read)
Blood of Eden by Julie Kagawa (2/3 read)
Day by Day Armageddon by J.L. Bourne (2/3 read)
Dead World by Joe McKinney (1/4 read)
Eve by Anna Carey (1/3 read)
Generation Dead by Daniel Waters (1/3 read)
The Grisha by Leigh Bardugo (2/3 read)

Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments Kat,
Only one series in common. Wow!
I read the first two of the Matched trilogy so long ago! When the 3rd book came out I bought it but never got around to reading it. I originally had it on the first level of my Chunkster challenge last year, but when I started reading it, I had no idea what was going on - so I quit and took it off. I'm afraid I am going to have to re-read #2, at least the end before I can kill off that one. So weird, I can remember the first book totally, but only bits of the second. I hate that! :0)

Is the China Mieville series the one that starts with Predido Street Station? If you say yes, I might have to give it away. There is no more room!

Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19206 comments Oh the Ellie Chronicles.... interesting.

Will be interested in how they hold up. I have decided my first book to complete a series has to be the Tomorrow series. I went to school with a girl who's cousin was the inspiration for Ellie.

I have a feeling I will need to re-read book one - it's been a long time since I read it!

And yes it is - the series is sometimes called Bas-Lag too...but it's pretty far down on my list to be honest - big books!

I have the last two of the Tomorrow series to re-read...might have to add that to my list too....I read the series multiple times as a teenager, but have never completed my re-read....good point ;)

Really? I didn't know there was a real girl that was the inspiration for Ellie!

And I've never read the Ellie Chronicles...but always wanted to. Story of our lives eh?!

Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19206 comments I read the first 4 books over and over, but never got to the last one. Then the Ellie Chronicles came out afterwards, and I'd already left the building.

Well, I guess as much as anyone can be an inspiration for a character dealing with a speculative war. She was a girl he taught at Geelong Grammar.

Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments So, the Ellie Chronicles are based on Ellie from the Tomorrow series, which I just started?

Good grief, I need to stop reading these threads! I just found out there were two more books in a series that I read in Middle school!

Yup. So see if you still like her in 7 books time, and then you can have more.
