This a R2R from our very own, Lauren. For those of you who've finished this go ahead and start discussing, and remember to do your reviews! :D

Lauren Eckhardt Thanks, Savannah!

Yes, if anyone has anything they want to discuss here, I'd be more than happy to join in. :) Otherwise, leaving your reviews on goodreads and on Amazon.com (http://tinyurl.com/mljbheu) would be much appreciated. Thanks again!

Ashley (ashley0929) Okay I left my reviews on goodreads and amazon! I loved this book so much. Reading about Evangeline's life was so interesting for me. The details that described everything were perfect I could imagine everything clear as day in my head. The Gavin/Liam/Evie love triangle was great too. When she was with Gavin I was all team Gavin, but then the moments she was with Liam were so romantic, and seemed to come so easy to the both of them. As I was reading this the whole time I could picture this as being a movie as well. Living in Impetus where everyone had no feeling, and then finally getting saved and joining Rebirth. Ahhh. I just could not stop reading last night. I couldn't help but wonder if her friend Jacqueline was putting on a facade because of her new husband in the other room. And can we please talk about the ending?? OH MY GOOOOOOOOOSH. She was on a train, then she gets brought to the room with the crescent table and GAVIN is there. All I could say after reading it was WHATTTTTTTTTTTT? lol. My little heart shattered when he was killed, then here he is at the end still alive and with these eleven other people inside of a building. Oh I also thought that Mr. Frank was the inside connection and when he "killed" Gavin I was stunned. But now finishing the book I think whatever Mr. Frank did might have saved Gavin so that he wouldn't get shot by the other guys from Impetus. I could be wrong lol but just my assumption. I can't wait to read the next book in the series though, it is one of the books that I need to know more! I wonder what they are going to do to try and save the people of Impetus, and then they had mention that Impetus has weapons and was starting to build a military, so that could possibly mean war. Or are we going to find out more from the people in the building, maybe Impetus is a experiment community of some sort, in that case I am sure Evie still wants to save her friend. There is so much going on in my mind after reading this book!

Lauren Eckhardt I love hearing your theories, Ashley! You really picked up on everything that I was hoping the reader would which is so awesome to see!

I have crushes on both Gavin and Liam for of course vastly different reasons. Evie has this impossible to explain ready to burst at any moment passionate heat with Gavin; but yet Liam is so sweet, romantic, and completely in sync with her while still maintaining his strength. Liam balances her out while Gavin is almost too much like her. I am totally attached to both of those men!

What did you think about Marlena and foresee as being her role in the developing story?

I also love hearing your theory about Jacqueline. That scene was a very brief part of this book yet is one of the key components in the next one so it's awesome you were so in tune to it.

Since the world is so detailed, I won't be releasing the second one (which will be called The Remedy Files: Rebirth) until April... but... stay tuned... ;)

You absolutely rock with your speed in reading and reviewing this, and I cannot thank you enough!

Ashley (ashley0929) Yay I love being able to talk about it afterwards, especially with the author!! I loved Marlena's character too she seemed like she would become good friends with Evie. You can tell Marlena loves Gavin, especially when she found out when he died she had the look in her eyes of being tortured. She did seem to not completely obey Gavin's rules by taking Evie to see where they were getting the supplies from, but I liked that about her she seems independent. I'm not sure what her role will be in the developing story, I think it was mentioned she went ahead to the other new camp so I am not sure if she has been captured by the men in black suits or not. If she hasn't been then I think she will slide into the leader of the reborn position. I can't imagine her reaction when she finds about Gavin being alive either. And we don't even know who Gavin really is anymore with that ending, he could be a completely different person then we've kind of got to know. Maybe this is why he never really wanted to give too many details to Evie.

Thank you for letting me read it, I plan on buying a paperback copy for my bookshelf now so I can reread it! I can't wait for April!!

Angela Ok. So I am really enjoying this book. One thing that just keeps nagging me are the run on sentences, because I am a grammar Nazi, and some words that aren't spelled right/words that are missing. Ex: I balled my firsts (should be fists). Ex: I try to yell out but... (I try to yell out, but...not sure if that is an actual grammar rule, but it sure helps stop the run on sentences) There's more examples, but I can't find them quickly. I only bring them up because you said you are still able to fix things. (:

Lauren Eckhardt No, I really appreciate that feedback, Angela! I've had a few friends read it to try to catch those errors but apparently there are still more to find. My struggle with this book is I started it 5 years ago (as in completed the beginning, the end, and some parts in the middle), let life get in the way, and then tried to pick it back up to fill in what wasn't completed which was difficult to do. I'm so invested in it that when I read it, I don't catch it the way another pair of eyes would.

It's a lot to ask of you, but as you notice anything like that, please feel free to send it to me via email ([email protected]) if you choose to. I definitely do want to get it corrected and really appreciate you noticing it!

And if you want to serve as an editor for me in the future, I could use a grammar Nazi. ;)

Thank you!

Angela You are very welcome! I would be very interested if you ever need an extra set of eyes. I really enjoyed this book!

Lauren Eckhardt I will definitely take you up on that! I should be finishing up the sequel by the end of February, so I will be in touch. I'm glad you enjoyed this one! I'm looking forward to the next one being error-free (and all future copies of this one, for that matter). :)

Ashley (ashley0929) I noticed a few as well and wrote them down as I was reading. I sent you an email. Hope that helps.

Lauren Eckhardt You ladies absolutely rock! Thank you both so much for sending me those. I will definitely be asking both of you if you'd like to read/offer editing tips before I release the sequel. Can't thank you enough!

Lauren Eckhardt Aww that's awesome, Sia!! Thank you! Super pumped to hear your thoughts afterwards! I just updated the cover, too, which I'm quite excited about, so you may be one of the firsts with that edition! :)
