I think five is a great number--you feel good about it, and that's all that matters. There was a year when school and personal life and everything came to a head for me, and I read maybe two books that year. We've all been there.

Hi Katie. Any reading is good reading. :) I am a slow reader as well and my kids rip through books. I have one friend who can read 3 or 4 books at a time and picks up each book randomly. I couldn't dream of reading more than one at a time as a good book is like a good friend always there waiting for you. Don't worry about everyone else's reading patterns just enjoy what you are reading and good luck on the challenge.
