Karly | 342 comments Hi all! Went on a Harry Potter bend this month - watched all the movies too. 20 years late but so worth it! A few other eclectic ones in here too, as usual :)

Beyond Einstein: The Cosmic Quest for the Theory of the Universe - Michio Kaku and Jennifer Thompson. 3 stars.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - JK Rowling. 5 stars. Definitely the most stressful of the HP books in my opinion.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - JK Rowling. 5 stars. Probably my favorite one.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - JK Rowling. 5 stars. Great wrap up to the series!

Wonder Woman, Vol. 1: The Lies - Greg Rucka. 4 stars.

The Bank - Bentley Little. 3 stars.

Locke & Key, Vol. 1: Welcome to Lovecraft - Joe Hill. 4 stars.

Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness - Susannah Cahalan. 4 stars. What a story, this poor girl. Reads like fiction, even though its a true story.

The Hypnotist’s Love Story - Liane Moriarty. 3 stars. Not one of her best.

Happy reading! Can’t believe its June already ah!

Kari | 149 comments Oh, Locke & Key! Have you watched the Netflix series yet or are you reading first?

Karly | 342 comments I haven’t watched yet! I was planning to read first but we’ll see... so much else in the tbr!

My partner's really into graphic novels and he just finished those up. He really loved them! We haven't watch the show yet, but planning to!

Karly | 342 comments Yes! I hear good things about both, plus Joe Hill is always wonderful

Dawn | 1371 comments Great month! Loved the Harry Potter series and movies...to this day my adult children (who were the ones to introduce me many, many years ago) still will re-watch and re-read. Good head's up on Moriarty's book...she has so many good ones, will skip this one!

Karly | 342 comments Yeah! First one from Moriarty I was disappointed with.

I'm in a challenge that involves a classic. Maybe I can count a HP for that. I read a couple with my daughter but get confused which ones I read since I saw all the movies.

Barbara K Brain on Fire seems a bit out of sync with the others, but it seems you enjoyed it. I read it a while back and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.

Karly | 342 comments Bonnie- I think HP definitely would count! They’re all good :)

Barbara - agree, definitely enjoyed it more then I thought I would. The story is so crazy that it really does read like fiction. Scary stuff though!
