I need to look at what I have on the spreadsheet and what I have checked out. I might remove Out of this World. Almost done with Pale Rider.

Sounds like a lovely weekend Mary! I hope today has been quiet so you've had a chance to relax a bit.
Natasha - I hope everything improves for you soon and dealing with things doesn't make it worse.
Thanks everyone for updating the SS a bit. Gives us a clearer idea where we have got to.

Spell outs 1-4 are done.
I've filled in the gaps with things that are marked as 'reading' or 'in progress' on the SS. If you don't think you'll finish something please shout. A lot of these can be juggled about as most letters are covered at least twice (if not more).

Sorry Rosina, error with copying and pasting when tired last night. Will check it isn't on this evening's update.
Nicole - yay for work calming down after a manic few weeks. Hope your time is filled with good books! Thanks for taking on spell out 7.
Good to hear we have librarians, if all else fails we have a thread in the captain's group for any requests too.

I know this isn't Hobbit related, just being thrown off when I update my reading progress. :)

What are you reading, Mary? Are you just not in the mood for them? :)

We're back home for at least a couple of days, had to change our plans again. Glad to have access to the PC, shower and TV, none of which exist at the summer cottage. I haven't had much time to read, when we're at the summer cottage, we spend a lot of time with hubby's relatives (hmph....).

You've put another edition on your shelf, namely this one The Last Ever After, which only has 600 pages. You need to switch editions to The Last Ever After if that's what you're in fact reading.

Camilla - when I clicked in to each that you provided, it showed I was "currently reading" both. I've adjusted now - thank you for the guidance!
Thanks for the updates on what you think you'll manage to read and helping each other out today.
Camilla - glad you've got a few days respite with connection to the outside world!

I have several books ready to start for the next word as well, once we get a planning sheet up.

Let me know if there's a particular letter you want to read for/add things to the SS and from tomorrow you should get an update for CELEBRATION as well as this round's progress.

I hope the update post helps guide what to read next!

I should be done listening to Harry Potter COS before the cut-off on Friday. Probably no other books for me this week but I'll get a jumpstart on next week.

I'll definitely finish Nattsångaren and Buried before the deadline :)
Thanks Samantha! HP has a lot of letter options which is great.
I'm hopeful the tags this time round won't be too bad to find.

I just feel like I want to read every book all at once and so I end up flipping between a few. I'll work on In Vino but probably won't have it finished until tomorrow. We have a lodge meeting tonight and it's actually back at the lodge.

Thanks Sophie and Victoria for keeping us all "together"!

@Camilla- isn't it annoying when you have to spend time with relatives instead of reading lol But a summer cottage sounds wonderful, hopefully you didn't have to change your plans too much
And didn't realise we had so many librarians in the group!

Round 2 Countdown
Edit: Please have final updates in at least 2hrs before end time
8 pm UK time; which is 3pm East Coast and 12pm Pacific Coast.

Is it 8pm for final updates on Friday?

If you could confirm perhaps one of our many librarians can update the GR page. If not I can get one of the librarians in the captains group to do so.

Yes, 8 pm for final updates! Thanks for catching that/asking. I just updated the times in my post to reflect it.

Thanks - just double checking as I'm travelling back home on Friday, but should be home around 7pm. If not I can update SS ok from my iPad or phone.

I know the feeling! I don't know why it took me so long to read Written in Red because I really enjoyed it. But I wasn't breezing through it. I haven't really been dedicating any "reading time" in the evenings so mostly I listen to audiobooks during walks and throughout the day.
I normally have 3 books on the go in different formats! Have to check they are different enough I don't get confused.
No rush Mary! Hope the meeting goes smoothly.
Tonya - thanks! Think we are one of the only teams that hasn't needed a replacement so thanks everyone for sticking with us.
Victoria - might be a backlash from so much reading a couple of weeks ago! Find mine goes in cycles.
Vikki - nothing wrong with friendly competition with your partner! Exciting you've got the motorhome. My husband keeps trying to convince me to get one.

I've just looked at the other edition on the GR page and it has 293p (the kindle edition) so I'm happy to use that as the default p count.

Every so often I have a book like that. I'm enjoying them but I just seem to get stuck when it comes to making time to actually read them.

I suspect those lists are going to change a fair amount over the next 2 days, so checking in would be fab Mary.
Vikki- glad you were able to pick it up eventually! I haven't used one before, will look into hiring one (but don't want to overexcite husband about it until I've thought through whether it's sensible with 2 small children)

I could have sworn I checked the kindle edition and didn't see a page count listed. I think I'm seeing things (or not seeing them lol)
