So there's trees down, crap flying around everywhere and on my way home from work there are idiots out jogging around the local Cross Fit gym. I mean, literally branches flying by and they are on a busy road with no sidewalk jogging. Idiots.

It's been pretty windy over here (Northern Ireland) even though it didn't seem to be forecast. Not as bad as earlier in the evening though.

A couple of books that I've been meaning to read in my to-read pile are tagged as crazy so it's a good excuse to actually sit down and read them now.

I know that I will finish the 3 I'm reading currently as well as The Clockwork Princess. I have lots of beach and car time (audiobook listening)!

Ugh. My yard is a mess but no damage. Storm moved my kayak across the yard. Chairs off the deck. Across the street they lost a large branch but just landed in the yard. I’ve heard lots of sirens. Hopefully nothing serious. Seems to be over.

I've definitely been one of those idiots in past, outside during storms and riding my bike to work while trees had fallen down along the bike path lol We weren't exactly in the hurricane's path, but were getting a lot of the winds. But at least I kept off busy roads...

I am around. Just haven't used the laptop in awhile. Will update the SS later this afternoon/tonight.

My last completion will be just before the cut-off time, I'm not enjoying the book (Unearthly), but intend to finish it before the deadline anyway.

V odd about the Fire. Technology is weird! Glad you made it home safely and it doesn't seem like there has been too much damage so far.

So are we going to get to the spell out for which you have Vineyards of Champagne earmarked? It works for C, E, R and A if you need to move it up. But it also works for K,B,C and A for the next word.

Just checking in before I finish to see if you'd rather I save it.

Also how are we lacking any other letters? I could get a shorter ebook in if it helps us get to count more finished books in for this round. If that makes sense.

Vineyards will be useful in the current spell outs we've got going - C, E, R, A are the letters I've been leaving in spellouts until the end so the tricky levels were done, so I'm filling in the gaps now! I think we'll get to spell out 11, which isn't even on the list above, depending on Nicole and any surprise additional books between now and then.

It's the annual joy of August for me! All trainee doctors in the UK seem to change job at this time, which means all the training runs out about now. Still have a load to do, but it can wait!

I updated the ss with my picks for Round 5...3 of them I need to get from the library....fingers crossed I get them in time.....for the library loans I got the samples on kindle so at least I can start them

Think the feeling unwell was largely overheating while pregnant. Being v careful today and tomorrow as it's going to be 35+ which is over 10 degrees higher than normal

I tried looking but got distracted. Mary C, did are you recommending just Dark Lover or the whole series? Just curious, for you know, reasons of the points related kind.
