Anything counts! I'm going to start transferring things across so the other teams will start to know where we've got to. Hopefully it's too late for any major changes from them though...

I don't know why I've never read Marion Babson before. If any of you are Agatha Christie fans, I suggest checking out Marion Babson. Not a hardship to devour 2 of her books today.
Orient Express just requested another addition of their word to the SS -I was split between responsible mod adding it and Hobbit captain saying no, tough that's all your points.
Good luck Nicole! You've been an absolute reading machine this round!
Will add Marion Babson to my tbr

Hahaha... I hope you chose responsible Hobbit captain! :P
One of the other mods added the rows before I had to decide!
If the planning SS is right, there are 8 more books that we might finish before the deadline. If they all get done, we'll be into our 14th spellout!

I'm so glad to have been a part of this with everyone!!

We're all checked in now with a few minutes to spare! It looks like we're going to finish 500 points above Murder on the Orient Express and the rest of the top 5 have checked in.
Thank you everyone for an absolutely incredible effort throughout the challenge, but especially the last 2 rounds. You've all done incredibly through a patch of real life time that hasn't been the easiest.

What you did in this last round was nothing short of jaw-dropping!
Congratulations from Team Orient Express. :)

Well done everyone!!!
1st place after an absolute stormer in round 5! Still need to wait for the official mod announcement, but status SS has us 600 points ahead.

You did incredibly well this last round - going head to head with you at the end there was so much fun! And it a well deserved victory for you guys in the end, I can only salute you (like Melinda did with her lovely gif skills) 👏👏👏

Thanks Sophie and Victoria for keeping us on track and being wonderful captains 😊

Thank you Sophie and Victoria, you are great captains! Hope to play with you again some day.
Now where did I put my Netflix...

Thank you Melindam!!!! You all did wonderfully!

Same!! Nicole, I actually changed mine back because I had upped it during our challenge but I wanted to show what I had originally planned and how much I "overed" this year!!

Camilla - if you find yours, let me know where it was hiding because I need to find mine too!! :D

Thank you so much for all of the support and motivation with this challenge. I thoroughly enjoyed getting out of my funk of not reading as well as being introduced to some stories I wouldn't have picked up without this challenge. Sharing lives and this space has also been a blessing and I hope to keep up with you all in various other challenges and spaces in the future.
Bless, peace, and light Hobbits!

He is over the moon! 😂 He went back to work this past week and was constantly checking in with me to make sure I was staying on track. Not to mention I couldn't have read as much as I did if he hadn't helped out with chores and errands like going to the grocery store. I'm taking him out tonight to celebrate 💃🏼

One of the best feelings ever! And also one of the reasons why I love participating in challenges like this.
Well done everyone! Would happily be on a team with any of you again!
Netflix will certainly be making a return now, and I can catch up on the bits of studying I've been putting off.
Nicole, I second the thanks to your boyfriend - feel like we need to give him credit too! Enjoy your night out celebrating!
This has got me ahead on my reading goal too which is lovely.
Thanks for making my first stint as full captain so easy.

And now a quick request with my mod hat on! We use your average books per month to try and balance the teams to give everyone a chance. We know that this challenge has been unusual in terms of how everyone's lives are, but if you were reading over 150% of your target most rounds, please think about increasing your target for the next team challenge.

I had a hard time deciding what to put this game. I never stopped working. Until this challenge started, I was behind on my good reads challenge because I was driving a lot less and so less audio time. Hubby and I were binge watching British detective shows and I wasn’t reading much in the evenings.
I ended up taking my total last year, divided it by 12 and then added a couple.
It's taken me about 8 years of challenges to get to an accurate estimate. Even then unexpected things can make it change a lot - so tricky to know.
My first victorious team as well!
My first victorious team as well!

I had a lot of fun playing with you all and hopefully we'll see each other on a future challenge.
A big thank you Sophie and Victoria for keeping us focused and motivated.

The next wheel is about to begin! If any of you want to play, please come and sign up, it should be great fun again. And is almost guaranteed to end any reading slump you've got into since last time.

I finished my last 2 books for the challenge (but still need to update the spreadsheet). Was trying to sneak in a 3rd but this work week has been kicking my butt.
