sundus (sundusssssss) Do you just skim through the book, or do you take notes as well? I’m not good at retaining information tbh, was wondering how you guys remember what you have read.

Much love :)

Cheryl (cherylllr) When I read psychology & science books, I take notes (actually, I use a book dart in paper library books ;) and then add those notes to my reviews.

If I were to read a real true self-help book I'd probably take tons of notes.

Karen (rhyta) | 3 comments It depends on the book, I like writing notes to help keep the information in my head. Other times I will just journal about what I've read and how it can apply to what's happening in my life. It usually is just whatever comes to mind first, go with the flow as it were.

Donna For me, taking notes is about the only way I can keep track of the helpful points I want to remember. I use a simple notebook, jot the title of the book at the top of the page, then list the page number for each point I want to remember, and paraphrase it.
