Zaur Could you recommend me please a book that would meet these conditions:
1) It's written in 21 century
2) It's about life in 21 century (cellphones, internet, global warming, etc)
3) It's entertaining.

I've organized a group of retelling some books for those who learn languages. I have some classic books in the list, but no book about modern life.

Thank you in advance

Are you looking for modern retellings of older tales?

Hogarth Shakespeare Series may be what you are looking for.
For instance Hag-Seed by Margaret Atwood.

There are 7 in the series, with an 8th on the way.

No, I'm not. I'm looking for a modern book about the modern life. Retelling is just what we're going to do with it: we read a book and then retell it in turns during a call on Skype

Janice (jamasc) | 59930 comments That sounds like an interesting project. Is it to aid people in learning a new language?

How about:
The Hate U Give
Crazy Rich Asians
Louisiana Longshot
