2017 Reading Challenge discussion

After a few months of reading this, I am still struggling to finish it. Hoping to get through it this week during the bout of books readathon. I think the premise is interesting enough, however, the execution is lacking. I have said since beginning this book that I feel like Steven King was paid for this book based on word count. That is the only reason I can think of to have a 700 page book for the subject matter. It is so bloated!
