I have to say I kinda liked darkest minds better, not sure why just how I feel. Still a good book thought.

I just finished The Darkest Minds. Will start this as soon as I finish editing my work.

I finished this last night.
The second part of it is way better than the first part(after 300 pages it starts to get really good). Moving on to in the after light today.

That comment gave me the courage to continue reading. I'll just have to push through then

I really hope to finish this in the week.

Through Chapter 8

Way way behind! This is a slow read for me but not as slow as the first book. I might be enjoying this a bit more than the darkest minds.

(view spoiler)[When she saw the prisoner and described him I nearly had a heart attack because I thought it was Liam, because really...I only care about him and Chubs. Turns out it was Cole, Liam's older brother. I hate Rob, more in this book than I did in the first. I guess that's because this book is from a different mindset? A new location? So Cate is still out of the loop then. Vida seems...I don't know about her. Then again she kept finding them after Jude and Ruby ran away and didn't notify anyone else. I hope Cole's plan works, because if it doesn't...bad news for all. Andy was really kind to them. So I'm guessing some day they'll make it to Black Rock? CHUBS! OH MY WORD IT'S CHUBS! Man, I've never been so glad to see a character appear. (hide spoiler)]

Jude just won my respect by saying: "I guess I just don't see what's so insulting about being called a girl."

(view spoiler)[Knox pretending to be the slip kid was all well and dandy, who cares, but the way he was treating the people. And poor Mason! OMG! THEY GOT AID FROM OTHER COUNTRIES AND KEPT IT SECRETS! Gray's an a**! So Clancy was good/bad guy? His mother was doing the right thing, trying to find a cure. Feeding Rob the ghosts of the kids he killed was kind of harsh, but oh well, he dead. I kind of liked the ending though. (hide spoiler)]

Okay, so the last part was good enough but this is the last book of the trilogy for me. Will not be completing it. 2/5 stars
