Lucky Stevens | 28 comments THE DUPLEX is a thrilling tale, set in 1950s L.A., of four gay friends who hatch a daring and highly unusual scheme to live life on their own terms, during a time of systemic governmental persecution. But their secret plan is not without its flaws, as internal struggles and terrible conflicts lead to heartbreaking lessons about the high cost of blending in—or not.

The Duplex is available on Amazon, and is, at the time of this writing, .99 for an Ebook.

As of this writing, Top 10 in the LGBT Historical Fiction Category!

"...a perfect, entertaining and exceptional novel." — Reader's Favorite

Taylor (taylorwatson) What other books for Pride would y’all recommend?

Brittany Lee (itsblee1234) Right now I'm partaking in a 10 day read-a-thon and the challenges were PRIDE, and books by black authors.
For the PRIDE challenge I'm reading a Female/Female romance:

•ONCE GHOSTED, TWICE SHY
by Alyssa Cole

Lucky Stevens | 28 comments Hi Taylor and Brittany. For other books, I would recommend checking out lists on Goodreads. You can also check out recommendations in various LGBT groups on Goodreads. I've heard good things about City of Night, A Single Man, The Price of Salt, The City and the Pillar, Gay Bar. Most of these are considered classics/semi-classics. A lot of it also depends on what you're looking for--fiction, historical, classic, modern etc. Oh, Gay L.A. was very good--Non-fiction. If you read any, please post your thoughts. I'd be curious to see how they compare, in your eyes, to my book, The Duplex, which does cover certain aspects of Gay L.A. and Gay Bar, as well as some of these other books, but through the genre of historical fiction. Hope this helps.

Ronnie Van | 26 comments Good day from South Africa.I am Ronnie Van der Merwe. My book which was released in May this year is on Amazon and Smashwords. JUMPING OVER THE RAINBOW by Ronnie Van der Merwe is about how my European au-pair experience assisted me in getting OU OF THE CLOSET and accepting me sexual orientation. I suggest it for PRIDE month.I am a pride gay man
