The Next Best Book Club discussion

Hi Group.
My name is Tabitha. As a fresh start to the new year, I've been searching for a new group to join on Goodreads that is both active and interested in a variety of genres, discussions, etc. The NBBC caught my eye because I am always on the lookout for traditionally-published debut and indie authors with exciting new stories to tell.

I read a variety of genres, but my nearest and dearest are Gothic Lit/Gothic Romance, Contemporary Literature (if it's been on Orphah's book club, I'm sure I've read it), Women's Literature (Plath, Sexton, Chopin, Atwood, etc.)and the classics. I'll admit that I am also the occasional sucker for Paranormal Romance (if it's done well).

Mostly, I gravitate towards lyrical, poetic prose, good writing, and stories that delve into relationships and that make me a more conscientious, enlightened individual.
