The Reading Challenge Group discussion

I read 153 books last year! All of them were just whatever I was in the mood for. This year I am challenging myself to read mostly classics, which take a little extra time to read because they require more thought. I will be reading any of my library holds that become available though, I have been waiting more than 6 months for some of them!! So, since it will take a little extra time to read, I am starting my goal aiming for 50 books this year but I will adjust if I feel like that is to easily attainable.

I have completed 4 books so far but they were all library holds from last year. Currently reading The Secret Garden and I am really enjoying it. Definitely a book to keep on my shelves for future reads and for my children.

So far have read three books and now looking at reading some professional textbooks but will interlace with varied topics. I definitely want to read more in Spanish this year.

I'm going to read The secret garden too, I have read A Little Princess by the same author and enjoyed it very much. Good luck with your challenge Tara

I actually just coincidentally started The Secret Garden today too since it was one of the smaller books on my kindle that I hadn't read yet. How ironic.
