I am still getting a kick out of Steve Burrow's Birder Mystery Series. In the third of the series, A Cast of Falcons, we delve a little deeper into the mystery in Chief Inspector Dominic Jejeune's life.
We also learn about the largest falcon, the gyrfalcon which nests in arctic regions and uses the nest repeatedly with some nests being passed down for generations and over a thousand years old. I love these kinds of tidbits.
I really like the cast of characters in this series and they were represented strongly in this book.
