Elizabeth R. | 13 comments I work weekly as a volunteer Reiki therapist with a group of children. Because of lockdown we are working on-line. One week I wrote short story for the children and somehow it snowballed with requests that a write a story about certain things like squirrels, one little boy's dog etc. I have about five stories now which need a bit of tidying up, I think they would need re-setting because I have made references to places on the island where the children and I live. My husband keeps saying I need to get them printed maybe as a fundraiser for the children's project. As I am typing this I am wondering if the children could do the illustrations? Sorry bit of a ramble.

Opal Edgar | 4 comments Hello HC,

I would love an honest review for my book!
It's a YA adventure fantasy called "Tosho is Dead".
The plot?
"What if after being murdered you don’t land in heaven? What if the other dead want to eat you? What if you don’t even have a soul? What if someone in the afterlife is plotting against you? Tosho, 16, will have to figure it out quickly or disappear into oblivion along with all the amazing friends he's made, and they certainly don’t deserve that."
You can read an extract here:

If you want to get an idea of my style before committing you can freely read one of my short stories here:

I can provide an ebook in epub format if you are at all interested.

Jodé Millman | 14 comments Good Morning. My name is Jode Millman. I’m an attorney, podcaster and author. I’m celebrating the One year anniversary of the publication of my debut thriller, “The Midnight Call.” It’s been an amazing year - book signings, great reviews, speaking engagements and awards. My novel just won a Bronze IPPY from the Independent Book Publishers.

In “The Midnight Call,” a pregnant attorney unknowingly risks her career, her relationship, her life and her inborn child, when she aids her mentor whose accused of murder. It’s inspired by a infamous true crime that rocked my hometown of Poughkeepsie, NY.

If your looking for a USA Today “must read” or a Pub Weekly “intriguing legal thriller” then “The Midnight Call” is for you.

If you like to win a new Audiobook, friend me and add me to your shelf by June 30. Good Luck.
