Jess | 3 comments I was wondering if anyone could help. I have read and loved
- Sherrilyn Kenyon (Dark-Hunter)
-Kresley Cole (All)
- Suzanne Wright (Phoenix Pack)
- Alanea Alder (Bewitched and Bewildered)
And I was looking for something similar if possible. Especially Bewitched and bewildered, although I'm not keen on the whole Merlyn obsession everyone seems to have. Don't get me wrong I love her but I wish that we would get more romance from the main couple. And I love the world she's created. But any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude | 156 comments Pride Mates (Shifters Unbound, #1) by Jennifer Ashley The Shifters Unbound series by Jennifer Ashley is a great one that has a focal romance in each volume (12 full length and 11 or 12 novellas) but it's the metaplot and the overall worldbuilding (including the Fae world) that makes it one of my favourite series as I'm not a huge fan of all of the romances (many are a bit insta-lovely for my tastes).

Hunting Season (The Gathering, #1) by Shelly Laurenston is a standalone and The Unleashing (Call of Crows, #1) by Shelly Laurenston is the first of a trilogy, but they are in a similar 'world'
Pack Challenge (Magnus Pack, #1) by Shelly Laurenston The Mane Event (Pride, #1) by Shelly Laurenston Hot and Badgered (Honey Badger Chronicles, #1) by Shelly Laurenston are all in the same world and each series leads into the next with reoccurring characters.
Basically ANYTHING by Shelley Laurenston. She is the Platinum Standard for not just funny, but hilarious UF/PNR.

Wolfsong (Green Creek, #1) by T.J. Klune one of my fav books written by one of my fav authors (I have very few of those), and the start of a series that is written in a uniquely beautiful way, but still chock full of romance in every page IMO, on top of all the revenge, magic and action and people making their own families that pile up together. And also, ANYTHING by TJ Klune in all the sub-genres as he is a master of all.

And there is the Damon’s Mountains Universe The collection includes 10 separate but inter-connected mini-series (because they are novella length, 100-150 pages mostly) in two parts and includes a major plot point that starts being discussed in book 1 and continues throughout with various revelations along the way. TS Joyce is the PNR novella queen of KU.

And all of these should be read in order. Unlike most people, I'm a stickler for that in any series in any genre (even if they are episodic) but for all of these, in particular, you will miss vital parts of the overarching plots if you don't.

PS Proud of myself for the shortest rec I've ever made (by far!) for any of the above in any thread on GR!!! I could (and have done on several occasions!) wax lyrical about all of the above...
