Theresa | 15571 comments I did it! I have read Remembrance of Things Past! All 3 volumes, 7 books, 3,424 pages of the Silver 1982 edition published by Vintage!

A bucket list read if ever there was one. I started 9/11/2019, finished today, 6/25/2020. For the last 2 months I have basically read nothing else as I fell behind during March and April - COVID distraction mostly.

I totally get why some of the discussion group intends to start reading it again, why anyone would read it more than once. Or even once. It really does reward you. And do not mistake it, it's a challenge.

In Member tracking you will find I have blogged a bit about the journey. No review yet. Right now I am heading off to pour the champagne and set out the camembert to celebrate during tonight's final zoom discussion.

Then I'm digging out a cowboy christmas romance to read!

🤣😁😁🤣

Theresa | 15571 comments I've got 3 cowboys lined up ... just need to settle on which to read first.

How are going to celebrate?

Now, that's what I call a menage a trois! (Or I guess should be quatre, as you are also involved)

Opened champagne, Jason, and gad some camembert. Did not feel like baking madeleines!

I also wrote up my Proust review and caught up on reviews of my pandemic audiobook listening - what I have used while dealing with sleep issues. I listen to music often when WFH as it helps my concentration. Can't therefore also use it to empty mind of work when struggling to fall asleep. I don't really like audiobooks but listening to favorite historical romances that all have HEA...perfect.

And in spite of having all kinds of light reading piled up, including 3 cowboys, I keep picking up Proust and looking at passages I marked. Clearly gaving separation issues. 🙄
