It's not a horrible book IMO, but it's definitely not the best.

My library doesn't have this one, but I ordered . I guess I'll have to buy this one for my NOOK. It's $7.99 but if I can get my daughter to get it from San Francisco for me, I'll get it from there. I wish I lived closer to that library! It's like Belle's library that Beast got her. It's HUGE!!! One entire floor is YA books!

I want a library to have an entire floor of YA, I don't think I would ever leave that Library. It would be my second home lol. Hope you can find this book somehow before we start. :)

I'm flexible, Amanda. I looked at the chapters and if we tried reading it in 6 days, we are looking at:

Day 1: Ch. 1-6 (68 pages)
Day 2: Ch. 7-10 (56 pages)
Day 3: Ch. 11-13 (59 pages)
Day 4: Ch. 14-17 (59 pages)
Day 5: Ch. 18-21 (63 pages)
Day 6: Ch. 23-24 (32 pages)

The pages aren't evenly spread out but that's the best I could do unless we want to take longer or simply read at our own pace. We could switch it up a little too if someone wants to work on it. LOL

What do you guys think?

I think that schedule works well for me. I will read day 1 today. I like having a schedule sometimes because it helps.

Yes I agree with you on that as well, sometimes I don't read at all in a day and then I'm like oh no now I'm behind.

Right! Or it's so good you finish it too fast. Lol

I can do that schedule. I'll try to get through day 1's page amount today, but I don't know if I will or not.

Me either I get them quite often so it sucks, most of the time they are migraines so it ruins everything so I can't read.

Omg! I've had bad headaches but never migraines. I can't even imagine how awful that would be. I just really hope that that gets better for you and I am a person of faith so I'll pray about that for you.

Finished reading for day one. I'm too tired to post much but I do want to say that I'm so (view spoiler)[ angry with her mother! Where is she? This is a 15 year old child and she doesn't show up at the hospital to make sure her daughter is all right? And then she doesn't even go to the court proceedings? There is no excuse for that!! I was too tired last night to post much, but I want to add to my post from last night.

Devon (view spoiler)[doesn't appear to understand the court proceedings at all. I know that at her age most of the court lingo would be foreign to her. I hate it that her attorney seems so rude and flippant with her. She also seems like she is seriously confused about just exactly what did happen. She almost acts more embarrassed about having blood on her that's visible to others than being afraid of getting caught and punished for what she did. And then the breast milk leaking onto her clothing. The "let down" tingly sensation she keeps getting but she has no one to discuss these things and if they are normal or what else to expect. There is no mention of "dry up" pills. If she did what it appears she did, it is despicable; however, I still feel for her because I don't know all the circumstances yet and she is too young to have to face this alone. If fact, I wonder if at her age and her mother doesn't step forward to help her with court stuff, wouldn't they appoint someone, like a foster parent or something? (hide spoiler)]

Thanks, I don't get them as often as I used to which is so much better. But I do get them somewhat often which always bugs me.

Going to read day one today and try to read day two as well, but we will see.

OMG, NO!!!! I am reading and it's really good!! I didn't have the cover for some reason when I made this thread, and this one sounded like one we'd read. LOL It's about a 15 year old girl who goes on trial for attempted murder od he newborn when it was found in the trash. I'm SO sorry!!!

I am feeling like such an idiot, but it happens.

I was confused for a second so I wanted to make sure which book we were reading. I will go to my library and see if they have that book because I'm not sure if they do. I have school in an hour and then I will go after to check so I will let you know.

I don't mind reading that book then the correct one another time.

It happens so don't feel like an idiot, I will try to get it today.

Okay so I went to my library and they have it but it's out and I don't know when it will be back in. So I'm not sure how we wanted to do this.

I'm at my library now to see if they have the "right" book. I'll let you know.

I'm 36% done. I don't want to stop reading it but I could read it slower and see if you get it and catch up. Lol

Okay that works. When I get home I will see online for prices of the book.

My library doesn't have but one of the Link+ libraries does so I ordered it. It's hard to say exactly when I will have it, but I'm guessing mid-next week.
