Megan A. Dell (meganadell) Hello everyone, I'm new here. I love all things crime, thriller and horror. I also like to write in these genres too. I'm looking to connect with readers and writers that love these genres too :).

Hello, Megan, and welcome to the group!

Stephanie_Reads_ Hello I am new as well.. I’m finding it difficult to navigate groups on Good Reads so bare with me. Maybe the website version is much easier than the app?

Hi Stephanie! I never use the app, in fact, deleted it from my phone, preferring the desktop version. It's much more functional.

Leena Aluru (mgleena) | 2698 comments I cant seem to get the desktop version at all

Leena Aluru (mgleena) | 2698 comments maybe that's why I cant seem to post pics of book covers and links of my reviews

Icewineanne | 349 comments You can’t load goodreads.com into your browser?

message 9: by Bruce (new)

Bruce | 3119 comments Leena, yes. You can only do the links, covers, etc through the desktop or safari versions. Actually, I have an iPad and iPhone, and I think I can only do the cover and author links through the safari on my iPad, not the iPhone. I usually use the app, but every once in a while I use goodreads on my iPad safari app.

Jan C (woeisme) | 39173 comments I think I am about to get rid of the app on all of my devices. They decided to start notifying me every time anyone makes a comment. It is driving me crazy.

If anyone knows a solution please let me know.

You can go to GR settings and change the notifications.

Do you mean group notifications or for all of Goodreads?

message 13: by Jan C (new)

Jan C (woeisme) | 39173 comments I guess it is group notifications, even on threads where I haven't commented in months.

I don't mind the emails but I don't like receiving notifications on my phone every couple of minutes.

Icewineanne | 349 comments Jan, click on your photo (top right of your screen), then account settings, then emails to configure how often you are notified (or not)
