Roger Kean | 17278 comments Jacob wins Oliver is left-handed but I am right-handed. and Rick, of course I can tie my shoe laces with both hands, you are just so right! :)

Sorry for the slow response, but yesterday was a hard facebook day (birthday 29th, so lots of coping with well wishers <-sigh->, not to mention trying to finish Mulholland Meat before whisking off to Portugal for 2 weeks on August 6.

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 566 comments Happy Belated Birthday Roger.

Whether you believe it possible or not I do practice magic. I hold strongly to spiritual energy of any and all kinds. Some call acts that occur that reflect on another's said magic coincidences some say it is all hogwash. However, I do not. I feel it is good to clean out your spiritual energy built up every full moon or natural solar/lunar event. Please respect my beliefs as I'm not pushing them on you.

1) I plan to do a protection ritual on myself tomorrow for the first day of the full moon.

2) I plan on using all of my built up spiritual energy to do something rather hostile to someone who is very close to me for their own good on the second day of the full moon when it is in full phase on August 1st.

3) I am going to summon forth a spirit who I have long denied since a few horrible incidents occurred four years ago in hopes to right was was done wrong. In order to avoid the three fold essence of universal balance.

message 1105: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Thanks Jacob!

1) because tomorrow's is a "Blue Moon" (two full moons in the same calendar month)

Rick | 15794 comments Happy Counting Circumnavigations of Sol, Roger! Best Wishes!

And you didn't tell me you editing Kip Nolan's pulp masterpiece, Mulholland Meat. That must be what thou meant about finishing it, right? ;)

Please pass on to Mr. Nolan how eager I am to read. Although I'm in the middle of Boys of Two Cities by that brilliantly talented Zack and next I've just got to read Satyr of Capri, so Mr. Nolan doesn't have to worry that I don't have anything else to read. ;)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 566 comments 1) Is the lie. Tonight July 31 is the Blue Moon a very powerful night of spiritual energy. This will be used to perform a powerful protection circle to get me through next month without confrontation from my enemies. This protection spell is not performed on myself so much as it is my enemies to keep them from me. However, Roger I will have to correct you. Many believe it is called a Blue Moon when a full moon occurs twice (the second Full Moon) in a month, however most seasons have three Full Moons every year, but sometimes a season will hold Four. It is the Fourth Full Moon of the season that is called a Blue Moon hence the saying, "Once in a Blue Moon." As it is far more rare than a Full Moon occurring twice in one month. This Blue Moon is the forth Full Moon of the Summer Season and the last.

2)This is true. August First, a Full Moon which starts a new month is a spiritual awakening and it can be helpful in hexes upon others and oneself. It is the second day of the full moon which is considered to be reborn the next month as it no longer is a Blue Moon, but a Red Moon. This moon is powerful for darker spiritual gatherings and summoning.

3)This is true. I feel whether it is believed or not that I have done many people wrong and caused unforgivable death upon a particular person. I was haunted by a spirit who did horrible things through me named, Mathias. I wish to summon him so that I may right my wrongs.

Congratulations Roger!!!

message 1110: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 566 comments I didn't mean to correct you Roger as many who do not practice such rituals always make such an assumption. I hate correcting people because it makes me seem snooty please don't think less of me and if you disagree by all means disagree I will feel less like an arse.

message 1111: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I stand corrected Jacob, and no worse for that :)

@ Rick, re:Kip Nolan, haven't a clue what you're on about…

1] At my art school (Hornsey College of Art), most of my tutors in the Fine Arts Department loved my work

2] I was a rebel at art school (Hornsey College of Art)

3] I never got my degree art school (Hornsey College of Art)

message 1112: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 566 comments 1) is the lie...I attended art school once before I made top grades before dropping out and even though I was second to highest in the course My professors and tutors looked down upon my work constantly emphasize where I needed improvement in some of the worst and most horribly criticizing ways. Many stated that it was a form of reverse psychology downing me to push myself beyond my own limits and exceed their expectations. Unfortunately with anxiety and depression such tactics did not work well with me. Perhaps for you a statement such as the one you have made is true, but from my own personal experience I must declare it a lie to reduce the symptoms of envy within myself.

message 1116: by Roger (last edited Aug 02, 2015 12:06AM) (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I actually was a rebel at art school — all of the student body rebelled, took over and ran the huge college for months on the grounds that British art education had lost its way, so #2 is true.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hornsey...

And because of that I lost interest in painting as a result of the rebellion's aftermath and went to study at London Film School and so did not complete the 3-year course, so #3 is true.

Lol #1 – this was the era of Minimalist Abstraction. To this day I don't know why Hornsey main course ever let me in from the Hornsey 1-year Foundation course. Real artists then covered their eyes even when looking at a David Hockney painting. Every one of my Fine Art tutors hated everything a figurative painter did, so #1 is a BIG LIE!

So no need to feel the slightest drop of envy Jacob, because you are right!

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 566 comments I'd certainly be able to relate, Roger..too bad too. I think as far as Artist go I have a small list of idols only one of these below is the lie:

1)Van Gogh, da Vinci, & Warhol

2)da Vinci, Goya, & Warhol

3)Warhol, Goya, & Durer

FYI everyone… I'm off for two weeks from tomorrow and where I'm going, though there is a wifi connection, it's not so easy to keep track of things, so forgive me for being a bit absent.

Jacob Wins!

I'd have picked 3 because I can't imagine you liking O.S.Card...
now, back to lazing

message 1134: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 566 comments Hip hip hooray!!!!

1) I am seeking guidance from those who believe and practice in magic. I look to delve deeper into such an art and wish to practice more difficult and more dangerous forms.

2) I am giving up on faith. I am giving up on spiritual healing and all such hogwash. I am renouncing any desire to be near a higher power than myself.

3) I am attempting to live a number of lives. I have grown unattached to myself and who I really am to the point that I am no longer able to be recognized as one person. I feel that I am going to be considered insane to those I call friends and family should they discover that I am living a number of lives with a number of aliases. This is so horrid to think of intensely, but I feel as though I can only be myself now if I am a number of people who represent aspects of myself.

message 1140: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 566 comments 1 is true I feel like I must open myself to something more than myself and I hope it goes well.

3 this is also true I feel as though I am going insane and I am losing myself in such insanity. I can't find myself so therefore I am offering myself up to a higher entity perhaps then I will no longer need to feel I must live multiple lives all of whom have discern themselves from the true me. Perhaps then I may be a more complete person.

Absinthe you are up.

2. I have twice as many uncles/aunts (not including their spouses).

3. We have a family reunion "committee" in charge of the reunions.

message 1147: by Rick (last edited Aug 13, 2015 05:56PM) (new)

Rick | 15794 comments I'm gonna go with #2, cuz it hasn't been a lucky number for me.

(this is big family! I had 8 aunts & uncles (and that includes spouses), sadly most of them have passed away, so there's only two left. And my dad.

message 1150: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments @rick- yes, we have a very huge family! If you were to show up at a Latinos gathering, chance are probably that they will be like, "and this isn't even half of my family."

1. True. They do have that many uncles/aunts. They already have over a dozen cousins. and little less then half the uncles/aunts have not started on a family yet.

2. True. I have a huge-ass family. I won't even start on the amount of cousins I have.

So 3 is the lie. Jacob you win!
