Roger Kean | 17278 comments You are right, Kit. I hate squid. I like a plain pizza, but Osso bucco is definitely the Italian dish.

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Oops… I should've waited a bit longer for Marcie. Kit hit the lie, rubbery sea-food is no favorite.

Absinthe 1. I'm failing Calculus
2. I'm getting As in all of my classes
3. I do homework for at least four hours a night

message 1305: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I can't help but feel #3 is a bit of a fib…

Nope. Numero Uno is a big fat Long Island Expressway or LIE for short. At least I think it is.

Absinthe 2 is the lie, unfortunately I am failing calculus despite spending on average four hours a night on homework, the majority of that time spent on calc -_-#

Marcie, take it away!

Yeah, it was pretty good.

Marcie | 7096 comments 1. Drove into the city (40 min. away) to do some shopping. But came home with a pet.

2. Drove into the city to specifically buy treats for the kids Halloween parties. Came home with half the store but no treats.

3. Drove to the city to return/ship out my laptop. Once I parked at the UPS store I realized I left the laptop at home.

message 1313: by Rick (new)

Rick | 15794 comments I'm gonna say #3, because that sounds like something I'd do. ;)

Monika | 3337 comments Hmmm, #2 and #3 sound very probable to me so I'll go with #1

message 1316: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I'm a bit late, but I agree with Monika :)

message 1317: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments Yes, I'm always in a hurry that things like 2 & 3 do happen once in a while. So Monika & Roger are right. But Monika guessed first... go for it girl!

message 1318: by Monika (new)

Monika | 3337 comments Ha, sorry but I didn't get a notification for this one... :/

1. I've got two cats.
2. I've got two dogs.
3. I've got two parrots.

message 1321: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Gotta be the parrots. No one ever ever has TWO parrots!

message 1322: by Rick (new)

Rick | 15794 comments I know of a 'Q'ute, sexy Bond assistant who has ****. ;)
I know someone has many birds, including (I think) two parrots.
I know someone with three dogs and that's three to many.

I'm abstaining from this because I'm biased. And all the options have been claimed. ;)

Monika | 3337 comments Roger wrote: "Gotta be the parrots. No one ever ever has TWO parrots!"

My cousin had two and I hated those screaming buggers.
Roger, you're correct #3 is a lie :)

message 1324: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I remember parrots in Nigeria: pretty and pretty damn mean too. On the other hand it reminds me of…

Among the many reference books I edited at Thalamus Publishing there was:

1) Parrot Training for Kids

2) Kitten Training for Kids

3) Puppy Training for Kids

Rick | 15794 comments Ok, I'll pick #1 then.

message 1328: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Rick… that's so spooky: you are right. There never was a "Parrot Training for Kids" but the others are still available from Barron's

Puppy Training for Kids by Sarah Whitehead Kitten Training for Kids by Sarah Whitehead

Mind, I think a parrot one would have been fun…

Yours again, Rick!

Ok, I just realized that I was in the wrong thread, again, I was wording this as a "Find the Truth" and not a "Find the Lie." Stupid me.

So, the least favorite of these would be #3, so I'm giving this one to Absinthe. Take it away - please, before I post without thinking things through again.

message 1333: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe @Rick don't worry this has happened to me a few times as well

1. I am against planned parenthood
2. I support planned parenthood
3. I support being pro-choice

Rick | 15794 comments Fine I'll take #1 then.

message 1342: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments Actually, I do save my kids clothes. There's several kids at my school/work that are not well off financially. Some of them are still coming to school in shorts and long sleeves- Anyways, they are reason I still hold on to the clothes. And if their parents allow I gift it to them.

While my house does not have very much space. I did have a small storage built in the back where I store it.

Go for it, Kit!

Marcie | 7096 comments :) xoxo

Yesterday we had a fire drill and I ran into my son. He spotted a little kid and he was like, "Mom, do you think my clothes will fit him? Probably not, huh? He has some curve-vaciousness going on." I smiled cus it's true. That boy (my son) was/is too thin to fit into the regulars :)

message 1345: by Rick (new)

Rick | 15794 comments I always thought "curve-vaciousness" meant voluptuous and with lots of curvy parts. I guess it's that generational shift thing, huh? ;)

Oh, wait, I just realized you might have meant that your son was thin and didn't fit into regulars. Oh well, either way, I get it.

When I was in 8th Grade I was 5' 10" and 120 lbs. I was so thin the wind in Texas would pick me up and toss me down the sidewalk if I held my coat open.

message 1346: by Absinthe (new)

2. I like pop tarts
3. I like fruit loops

Yes. He's just being silly. And I know what you mean. :) That's pretty much me right now- well, minus 6 inches/pounds.
