Since purchasing my kindle I don't head to the bookstore as much. The library is down the street from my home. And I rarely read the blurbs. I like to go in somewhat blind into the book. So I go off my friends star ratings or reviews.

Sonja wins! I am house-sitting for three days this week, but I finish with it Friday afternoon, so I will have time to go out with family and my partner and celebrate. Typically my partner does visit on Thursdays but since we wouldn't be able to spend much time together, he decided to come up on Friday instead. Thank you for the congrats Pres!

YAY ME!!!!!

1) My auntie who raised my in Europe who has cancer will now be visiting me after five years of not seeing her.

2) The children of my auntie Mary are not allowing her to see me because they fear what might happen if she leaves the country.

3) My auntie's children are just now coming back into her life after my entire life they had abandoned her. Now they just happen to be back after learning she only has a year at most to live.

Absinthe, unfortunately, you are right. I recently learned that due to her cancer her children who have happened back into her life no longer want her to be a part of my life. As I am a child who was raised by her and not her legitimate child even though the best years of my life will always be when she was my mother not with my real parents.

Her cancer has spread all over her body and she wanted to visit the states for the first time ever and come to see me in my home rather than me come see her. She wanted to go on a trip to visit the amazing places in the states, but that will not be possible as her children despise the fact that their mother raised me from the age of one to twelve and gave me a life of true fulfillment and not them who left with their father at the age of eighteen because there mother moved around too much. Rather depressing, but apparently as much as she loves that her children have come back into her life she is writing them out of the will.

I'm sorry Jacob :/ That is really sad and I know there's nothing I can say to make it better so have another hug.

I do generally like dogs, but these dogs are super high maintenance and also pretty gross (constantly vomiting and drooling everywhere). Also I have to stay at their house so I am missing my baby kitties.

I did have my first alcohol from a restaurant though my 22 yo friend is the one who bought it. (It is not my first shot ever lol)
