Sorry for missing earlier. I got busy with non-internet life! Gets in the way sometimes. :D;;

Preston | 20148 comments 3. I hope.

Marcie | 7096 comments He did get the MVP award. And he also has played every position in baseball. The only one he's never done was catching. But one day during practice he asked his coach if he can give it a try. The next day he was the starting catcher. So #2 is the lie. And since that's the only option left for Roger to pick...Roger, you win!

message 2204: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Oh I do love winning by default!

1. I have had to start wearing bifocals, even though I also wear contact lenses.

2. I've been told not to wear my contact lenses for so long, so I've been fitted with goldfish bowls to wear to watch TV after removing the contacts.

3. I've had to have a pair of prescription sunglasses.

Preston | 20148 comments 1. Is my answer. What does that win me?

message 2206: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments 1 but Pres beast me to it....so #3

Preston | 20148 comments Marcie wrote: "1 but Pres beast me to it....so #3"
Well he doesn't actually have to wear sunglasses because he could stay indoors in a dark room all the time.

message 2208: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments True :)

message 2209: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Sorry… I been away, far away in Madrid, but

Marcie, you are right! 1 and 2 are true, and three is a LIE!

message 2210: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments Hope you had a nice trip, Rog!

1. I've had a black eye.

2. I had cuts that should of probably been stitched rather than "fixed" with a butterfly bandage.

3. I have a dozen scars.

message 2211: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments 1.

message 2212: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments It was a great trip, Marcie, thanks!

#3

message 2213: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments I'm glad, @Rog!

I've had a black eye and open wounds before, but not 12 scars...only 6. Your turn, Roger!

message 2214: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments 1) I haven't suffered a cold for almost two years.

2) I haven't had a proper vacation break yet this year.

3) I shall be off for two weeks at the start of August.

message 2215: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments 3. I know you're not going to be off for two weeks in August because you bring your iPad Air with you so when you visit that fancy hotel resort with their WiFi —that's just like being home and you stay connected to the Complaint Department .

message 2216: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments True! But not correct :D

message 2217: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments Dude, you just returned from Spain(!) Whatcha mean by proper? ;)

That was just TWO days! I don't call that "proper"!

And psssst! You're right, Marcie, I'm just recovering from the cold some b*****d gave me on the flight back.

message 2219: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments Dude, that totally sucks. At least you didn't catch before your trip. That really would of been a bummer.

1. I get choked up every time I sing happy birthday to my kids.

2. My son has turned 14 and is finally taller than me.

3. My daughter has turned 12 and has already reached my height.

message 2220: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Oh, that's a tough one! But…

#2

message 2221: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments 3. tall is good for basketball :)

message 2222: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments Preston found the lie! My daughter is not 12, she just turned 11 this March. And though basketball players are preferred w/height, my poor daughter has none. She's the shortest on the team.

message 2223: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments lol!

Preston | 20148 comments

1. My dog eats Blue Moon chicken strips
2. My dog eats Pup-Peromi
3. My dog eats Milo's Kitchen chicken jerky

message 2226: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I reckon 3...

message 2227: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments Psst Rog, you reckon we're both wrong or Preston forgot about us?

message 2228: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I think he's forgotten about us…

message 2229: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments Rog Wins!

message 2230: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I'm rather partial to Milo's Kitchen chicken jerky myself, and if Zeke doesn't like it, I'll have his helping :)

It's hot and humid this afternoon so I am wearing:

1) a pair of camouflage shorts from Joe Brown

2) a pair of shorts and a plain gray t-shirt

3) nothing at all

message 2231: by Marcie (last edited Jul 23, 2016 09:22AM) (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments ;-D If you you're trying to avoid the heat, I think walking around the house w/3 will only eventually end up making you hotter...if your man is home *waggling eyebrows*. So I say 3 is the lie ;)

message 2232: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments I looked on the Joe Browns website and they didn't have any camouflage shorts but they do have lovely Palm Tree Combat Shorts. Well maybe they used to sell camo shorts but still I say the lie is: #1

message 2233: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Marcie is correct! The Joe Brown camo shorts were from last year's catalog. You're right that they didn't have any this year.

message 2234: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments Roger wrote: "Marcie is correct! The Joe Brown camo shorts were from last year's catalog. You're right that they didn't have any this year."

But this year how did you resist the overwhelming temptation to buy the Joe Browns Palm Tree Combat Shorts?

Go Marcie!

message 2235: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Preston wrote: "But this year how did you resist the overwhelming temptation to buy the Joe Browns Palm Tree Combat Shorts?"

It's a mystery!

message 2236: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments Not so long ago my daughter attended a 3 day basketball camp thrown by the Universities girls Coach & players.

1. After the first day of camp, my daughter along w/four on her basketball teammates were the only ones to be taken out from her their 4-5th age group and moved to the main gym and be in the 6-9th grade camp.

2. On the last day when they held competitions my daughter won the free throw competition in her age group. She also got paired up with her BFF/teammate and they won the 2 on 2 competion for their age group.

3. She won the MVP award again this year.

message 2237: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments 1.

message 2238: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments #2

message 2239: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments Nope. Try again :)

message 2240: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments 3.

message 2241: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments My daughter did get moved up with the older girls and held her own pretty well. She also won the competitions mentioned above. But there was only one MVP Award handed out for the whole camp this year and a 9th grader got it. Preston found the lie!

message 2242: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments Marcie wrote: "Preston found the lie!" I'm so clever!

1. I eat lime yoghurt.
2. I eat mango yoghurt
3. I eat apple yoghurt

message 2243: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments I know! :)

#3 is the lie

message 2244: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments Marcie got it!

message 2245: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments apple yogurt :)

1. My kids uncle helped me out w/their (back-to-school) shoes that would of cost me $210.

2. My kids uncle just gave them each Beats (by Dr. Dre) headphones just cus.

3. My kids uncle got each of them a season pass to the Water Park.

message 2246: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments 2.

message 2247: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments #1 because they would be $220, not $210 :-)

message 2248: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments Try again :)

message 2249: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments 3. Great gift.

message 2250: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments 1 & 2 are truths. Their uncle has always helped out w/their back-to-school shoes. And the headphones happened cus he knew Dani was saving up for some. I kid not, but a lot of what they have (that is not considered a "necessity" although my kids would probably argue differently :)) is because it was giving to them by family. Anyways, the water park is the lie. Go, Preston!
