Viki (vikir) | 814 comments Good reading list. I am going to try and join in the book discussion of the book HIgh Noon, but we will see what happens.

It has been a while since I read Catherine Anderson. Have you read any other books by her? I use to read her books often but not as much. Amanda Quick is defintely an author I need to read again in the future.

Robin (robinmy) | 3478 comments I haven't read a Catherine Anderson book in years. I remember liking her books about twenty years ago. Not sure if I'll still enjoy them. It seems my reading tastes have changed. I hope this title is a good one.

I still have a bunch of Amanda Quick standalones to read. They are always worth picking up for a good read.

Looking forward to all of our group reads, Robin! Thanks for participating💜

I read two Catherine Anderson books about ten years ago (my sister-in-law loves her) but her style just wasn’t for me at that time. Your feedback will be helpful.

I'm so looking forward to Brazen and the Beast. I'm on the library waiting list.

Enjoy your reading!

Melissa (melissasd) | 1610 comments I hope you enjoy Skin Game by Jim Butcher. The Dresden Files is one of my favorites. The next book in the series comes out this month and I already have it preordered.

Christina T (crysteena73) | 558 comments You have some really good books planned. I haven't read a Catherine Andersen book in a long time. I thought the ones I read were Ok. Not fabulous. Very tame and borderline inspirational with many of her characters being religious. I have many of her books still on my physical bookshelves because I liked them well enough. I've heard some of her older ones are pretty good.

Thanks Jonetta. I remember reading 7 or 8 books in her Kendrick/Coulter series. I got bored with that series. but have found a couple of older standalones that were pretty good. Still, it's been years since I read them. We'll see how this goes.

It's been a while since I read the first book. I hope I can remember the characters.

I actually read Skin Game when it came out five years ago. I remember I loved it, but don't remember much about the plot. So, I figured it was time for a re-read before the new book comes out. So, looking forward to two new Dresden books this year.

I still have several older Catherine Anderson titles. I do think her newer books are a little preachy. I really haven't picked up any of those. I'm just hoping I still enjoy her older books.

I'm interested to hear what you think of this one. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series since it was kind of set up by the end of this book.
