I asked on facebook and found out that a friends cousin is an author!

Renae (renaev) | 57 comments Also does anyone know how to work out on a Kindle how many pages a book has, if it were a solid book? Cause Im guessing that the 500 pages wont count as Kindle pages :-)

Just look the book up on goodreads and it will tell you how many pages lol. I also think on kindle you can change the setting so it tells you page numbers instead of percent I just don't remember how.

Thanks!then wecan all get some ideas from each other. AHHA I also read all of the assigned books that I was supposed to in school. Also usually before the chapters were assigned I would haven the book finished haha.

But maybe it would work of for like ummm.... I know some other kids in school read different books than we did so maybe that would count.

I hope so lol..

Also SYLVIA!!!! Lol for the published in 2015 it's kind of hard because only books from January would count...... Maybe that could be moved? Unless we have ARCs. I don't know does that make sense?

I'm definitely thinking that we are going to have to nominate this challenge for another week so as to give more time to get more options for published books…so no worries there hun

I don't see that would be an issue to borrow off of someone else's list if you have read everything from your childhood etc.

Awesome! Thank you!

Also, if you sign up for BookBub.com, they'll send you daily deals for books, both free and reduced price! Or you can just go to their website and look up all of their book deals. They tell you what they are, how much they are (either free or reduced), where the deal is (Apple, Amazon, Kobo, etc.), and how long the deal is going on for. You can find them by genre. It really great!

Trinity wrote: "So each number denotes the weeks challenge, correct?"

Well, because we started it in the middle of the month, 1 & 2 are being covered this week and then 3 & 4 will be covered next week so we can be on track to read one number per week after that. Not sure whether I will be moving number 4 to another week and bringing up another number in it's place since it asks to read a just published book of this year and since we are only in January, that doesn't leave too many book options to read. Hope this makes sense!

I know what you mean. The library's waiting list is so long I would end up purchasing the books.

Bookbub is a wonderful site that offers up free and cheap ebooks for major ereaders. You setup an account. Select any genres of interest and the site will produce book recommendations and also send you an email of new recommendations. Those with stacked up TBR, be aware. :-)

Savannah | 312 comments Guys, I keep copying and pasting the link to my shelf onto the challenge weekly topic page but every time I hit save it tells me that a shelf name has not been entered. I finished both books but neither of them have been counted. What do I do? Does anyone know how I can get the shelf saved to the challenge?

Savannah, go to BOOKS and right click on that shelf and copy then come to this thread right click and paste.

Savannah | 312 comments Another question! Did we switch number 4 and number 24 around so on week 4 we read a book based on the cover and week 24 we read a book published this year? And what exactly does that mean, a book based on the cover?
Sorry about all of the questions!

This happened to me too. I deleted my shelf and created a new one and it worked. You dont copy and paste. You enter the name of shelf you want to create into "Enter a shelf name for this challenge:" and it creates the shelf.

That's how I did it anyway.

Apparently it's messing up for a few people. Delete your shelf and do it again. You will still have to copy and paste o put it on this thread though.

Yes, they were switched. A book based on the cover is a book that you want to read because you like the cover. I'm a cover reader a lot of the time and will read a book because the cover drew me in.
