Spend the long weekend in the Forest of Allund.



New mage Alexio Sopholus returns home from the Mage Academy to find his home in chaos. Barbarians have invaded and they want to take it all for themselves. Alexio must fight them and his own leaders to make his world safe. He soon finds out much of what he was taught at the academy to be useless when someone has you at the end of a sword. Then you must fight, run, or die! Alexio fights a brutal war that goes against the laws of both Gods and Men.



Alexio continues his fight with the barbarians. He is still not trusted by his leaders, but help is needed to defend the kingdom. Alexio must take a dangerous journey to seek that help from an unreliable king. What he finds is more betrayal that forces his and his friends to flee for their lives. He returns home to find his land in chaos. Alexio must find a way to defeat the barbarians, secure his kingdom, and bring order to the chaos. That is if he can stay alive long enough.
