Bakemonogatari is a very weird but creative series. It's strongpoints are most definitely it's characters and dialogue. It follows the highschooler and former vampire Araragi as he helps people with their supernatural problems.
The dialogue is the strongest part of this series. While the story is lacking plot, it excels in the conversations. Even though they are just talking, the dialogue in this novel is always witty and entertaining to read.
The characters that have been introduced so far are also very fun and interesting. Senjougahara is a girl who had her weight stolen by a crab, so she requests help from Araragi to get it back. She can be very sadistic which is evident when she attacks Araragi with staplers and other various school supplies. Despite this, he still helps her due to his good nature. We find out more about Senjougahara and her past, which really made me like her character more.
My only downside with this book is that the main character can get borderline pedophilic as well as the excessive fanservice.
