Keep Calm and Trust ur little grey cells - onto a mysterious journey

Yeah, it was in The Murder on the Links.

Holmes us good too, not that his stories are bad. But I will always prefer Christie :)

How many have you read from the series?

I have read most of her books too but this is one of the 2-3 books of Poirot which I haven't read. So I am really excited about it.

Cool :)

What is the situation on this series? Has everyone finished book 2? Should I begin book 3 from the 1st of April or from 15th as originally planned? Do let me know as I am planning to set up the threads for the other reads, so if this needs to be changed, we can do that from the 1st OR if you think we should give it a month as that might gather more readers/participants, we can do that as well.

Anyway,Its great that you are re-reading.I've read only one Christie so far.The one that many people consider to be her masterpiece - And Then There Were None

I will start book 3 next month. :)
@to everyone: please help me with ebooks of 3 & 4 Hercule series.:)

But as to the fourth book, next mentioned is The Big Four- which is a collection of 11 short stories featuring Poirot. Am not sure whether we will be reading short stories here - left to the moderators to thresh out.
Then comes The Mystery of the Blue Train

However, I shall leave it to the group to decide what they want. There is no hard and fast rule regarding reading short stories, especially if they form a part of the chronology. I think it is more a question of personal interest. So whatever the group decides, I am okay with that. :)

@Smith.....ah, Roger Ackroyd...masterful...Christie at the height of her powers...
And I very humbly and lovingly beg to differ, sweetie, Big Four is a full-length Poirot...but yea with such a long list of Christies it's easy to get mixed. I think you meant blue train?
Yep...big 4 is more an detective novel/chase/adventure (parts of it are a bit bombastic even, like the very old Batman and Robin serial) than a true mystery, since the villains are all known at the outset. Hah!

Oh... Wikipedia mislead me.
I will check again...
Yes, Zaara , you are right. Big Four is Hercule Poirot # 5

I got misled in Hercule Poirot order
Goodreads gives it as...
Poirot Investigates at No.3 - this one is a short story collection which we may ignore. Confirmed with GoodReads that it's indeed a collection. :P
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd at No. 4
The Big Four at No. 5
So The Murder of Roger Ackroydshould be the next in order..
Thanks Zaara, for pointing out.

Same here. Have the book for a long time, but haven't read. Maybe because I do not want to read the last case...

I sort of dislike Holmes. He acts high and mighty.
