What would have happened if Tris didn't die?

So I was thinking, what would have happened if Tris didn't die? Would it have an ending similar to the hunger games, with everyone mentally scarred for life? Would Tris and Tobias still be together?

Probably. Because Caleb would have probably died in Tris's place, she'd likely have more mental trauma than Tobias. I'm willing to bet Tris and Tobias would be together.
I like to think that tris would have married tobias and they would live in the city only helping the poor and you know, giving them self-defense lessons. They would both be haunted by this traumatic time but they would be happy that the other survived. Caleb would probably be dead in tris's place, so that's unfortunate.Allegiant
