Happy Independence day to our American brethren, we in contrast in the UK have 72 years of the NHS to enjoy.
Tomorrow our Australian friends join in the celebrations with the start of NAIDOC, if the weather is nice it is also National Bikini Day. Any Buddhist can welcome Asahla Puja and reflect on the four noble truths.
And for all lovers, loved ones out there, Monday is International Kissing Day. :)
Don't forget to socially distance, wear masks, stay safe and wonder how to get around the obvious obstacles.
Tuesday, we can try a Strawberry Sundae, in comfort if we are sad over Monday, avoid it if we are allergic and indulge if at all possible. I shall myself endeavor to find something delicious. I have some Strawberries and Cream biscuits, cookies if you prefer, though I don't imagine they will last till then.
Then dust off your old game-boy, Xbox or PlayStation and give National Video Game a whirl on Wednesday.
My debut novel, Trader - Prelude, is currently free on Amazon, (eBook only unfortunately) from the 4th to 8th inclusive. Read, hopefully enjoy, tuck away for a rainy day, if you must. The sequel will be out before Christmas, all going well.
