I’m an author on Goodreads, and I just found out about listopias, I’ve seen a few lists that I think my book would fit in with and I wonder how to get my book on these lists if you can’t add them yourself?

The lists in question are here: https://www.goodreads.com/list/liked/...
Thank you

Miss M | 84 comments The reason authors can no longer add their books to Listopias is they abused the privilege by using them as a marketing tool.
Just leave it and let readers do their thing.

“It's also worth noting that Listopia is a crowd-sourced community feature, so it should not be used for promotional purposes.”

James King (jamoroki) | 3 comments I'm trying to work out how this works. The reply link doesn't seem to work. Anyway. Thanks Chloe. I've been trying figure out Listopia for a while, because on all my book pages it says - 'This book is not yet featured on Listopia. Add this book to your favorite list »' Why do they say this if you aren't allowed to do it?

I think it’s there so readers to add books they like to a listopia, but the book has to be on their reading list for them to be able to add it. You could ask readers if they liked your book to consider adding it to a listopia.
