John (Nevets) Nevets (nevets) | 1903 comments So I've watched several of "How To Drink"s video's in the past. He has a nice mix of YouTube episodes some more about the history of drinks, and some where he plays off of pop culture, mostly properties with a bit of a geeky streak to them.

This new episode hit me as something this particular group might enjoy, it is based on the upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077.

One of my favorite parts, is he shares a similar attitude to mine on the various punk sub genre's.

And if you like that check out is back catalog, he has drinks based on Avatar, Cowboy Bebop, and many others.

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 1803 comments This might be a good thread to ask the question. So, I have this NZ Pinot Noir at home. Any idea for mixes? I normally only drink wine as it is but am interesting to know more recipes.

John (Nevets) Nevets (nevets) | 1903 comments Wine is one category of alcohol I'm not particularly familiar with, sorry. But that being said, I do know that Pinot Noir's can often be used in Sangria's, and those I have enjoyed over the years. Typically they are mixed with a harder dark alcohol as well, like a brandy or rum, but I think you would be fine leaving that out. Look for an online recipe (there are a spectrum of them) that looks appealing, and give it a go with out the extra alcohol. . To get some of that flavor back in that brandy or rum would have added, with out the added distilled beverage, you could maybe add some brown sugar or molasses (I'm sorry I don't know how common those are over there, but I'm guessing you know of something similar).

Most other drinks I thought of, or even Googled involved ingredients that you probably wouldn't use elsewhere (like bitters) or other alcohol's you would also probably not use elsewhere.

Anyone else, that is more into wine?

Rick Don’t mix it. That for cheap wine. A decent NZ Pinot is quite tasty.

Ruthifred | 27 comments I’ve been enjoying aperol spritzers (bubbly wine + aperol). You can also do this with vermouth. There’s a lot of easy combinations that are so refreshing. :)
