2025 Reading Challenge discussion

During the previous years I had been a person who would rather watch a movie than read a book. But after reading the Help and watching the movie I have found out that books were a whole lot better because of their detailed descriptions and because we are free to imagine the story the way we want unlike movies. My resolution this year is to read before bed every night and complete at least 2 books per month.

I find this true about most book to movie adaptations. The only recent movie to surpass the book, in my opinion, was the Hundred-Foot Journey. Good luck with your goal!

That's a great goal, Sara. I've read The Help but haven't seen the movie yet. I'm completely the opposite - I love to read, but hardly ever watch movies. I did finally watch the movie The Fellowship of the Ring last week, though!
