This is my first time posting here, so hopefully this goes well!
I've just recently released my first two books on Amazon through KDP, Between the Veil, and Age of the Catalyst, both of which are the first in their own planned series.
I'm pretty positive I can send out free copies to people with Amazon KDP, so if you would like to review either, or both of my books, let me know! I would greatly appreciate it, and be more than happy to review one of your works in exchange as well.
Between the Veil is a modern paranormal story, told in a first person perspective.
Curtis Yakimura used to be alone, lost, and without any cause to speak of, but now with two percent of him dead, he finds himself apart of a world full of oddities, aberrations, and anomalies that keep him company, for better or for worse.
While hardly qualified in any sort of investigative field, Curtis and his not-so-trusty God of fortune, Yana, get themselves caught up in another mysterious case of lost identity on the nearby island of Bellfield. Curtis would love nothing more than to have nothing to do with any of this, but regardless of if he avoids these situations, they always seem to nag him one way or another until he takes care of it, however crudely or clumsily he might do it.
When Curtis and Yana delve deeper into this case, they more it seem as though they're both well in over their heads this time, and perhaps made it even worse.
Age of the Catalyst is a YA Fantasy novel, told with multiple perspectives that will shape the story across multiple books.
Grand adventure. Cold betrayal. Ancient conspiracies and secrets. In the vast sprawling world of Gamriss that's equal parts vibrant and unforgiving, many will find themselves the focus of this new age that they will all shape, for better or worse.
A sprawling tale that mixes adventure, and bright-eyed optimism in one character's perspective, with tragedy and strife through the eyes of another. Age of the Catalyst combines many different themes, and aims to force readers into taking sides of characters whose intentions and goals might not be viewed as favorably by others.
Caden, a mostly naive, but ambitious adventurer sets out to discover everything there could possibly ever be to see with his newfound friends. Along the way however, they quickly find themselves well in over their heads when Caden can't help but steer them right into trouble they should rather be avoiding altogether. In the process, they all find something within themselves they never thought was there before, but could never comprehend what they have possibly triggered in doing so.
Calaera, the bold and clever Princess relishes in reading up on old battles and their strategies, so it's only natural that she's looking forward to seeing her first King's Tournament that her Father puts on during the yearly Festa. This year however, King Dreymond will be taking the winner as his personal escort to the Summit of Leaders, and will prove to be more than just an exciting, and stressful time for Calaera.
Eszu, the proud and immensely strong Chief of the Dracus tries to lead his people to salvation in eradicating the Dragons who cursed them so many generations ago. As the Summit of Leaders approaches however, Eszu is faced with a decision that will change the course of his people, and in turn, all of Gamriss.
Meanwhile, multiple new and mysterious threats appear to be influencing the events of Gamriss. Whether anyone can do anything about it, or even cares, is another question entirely.
How will Caden, Calaera, Eszu, and everyone else shape Gamriss in this new exciting age? Who is it that's influencing these events in Gamriss, and why are they doing it? And what is the secret behind the world's corruption?
Enter the world of Gamriss, and discover all its secrets.
Thank you for reading through all of that, if you did, and I really appreciate any and all reviews/feedback! Also, feel free to add me as a friend here if you'd just like to chat and connect.
