What else are you watching?

It was a nice movie.

absolutely loved this, still not sure how it ever got pitched

I've finshed 2 seasons of Dark, which is one of the most convoluted shows I've watched, just finished Season 4 of Peaky Blinders
Midnight Diner is my "happy romp" but has more crying men than any show I've ever watched, I've kind of stalled on "Money Heist"
I'm at the beginning of "Occupied", so I'm watching Japanese, German, Norwegian and Spanish shows with subtitles, only my japanese bar talk is getting better

a prequel season!"
I did not like it. Dropped after 2 episodes.

Looks like they’re keeping the ultraviolent tone from the comic.

😂
This needs to go in the Funny SFF thread."
That's the thread I was looking for. Couldn't remember the name. I added the tweet over there.

I didn’t even make it through the trailer.
I watched 1.5 episodes of Primal, Genndy Tartakovsky’s new show, and sweet baby yoda is that unrelentingly grim and violent. The infant murders in the first episode alone were brutal. So I Noped out of that right quick.
I didn’t care for Samurai Jack or his Star Wars bits, either, so his stuff clearly isn’t for me.
I’m also struggling a bit with The Boys. It’s so twisted I feel gross after watching an episode.
Thank god for Kim’s Convenience.
I didn't struggle with the Boys, but I agree Kim's Convenience is great. I hope we get another season sometime next year.

Did you read the comics? Amazon has toned it down soooo much (thankfully). The comics are depraved. The show is Care Bears in comparison.

The Boys is hard. I finished season 2. The best thing was the Billy Joel songs...

Mandalorian as a spaghetti western"
I posted it in the Mando thread at some point. Still awesome. 😁
This week's episode was very western-ish, apart from the "dragon"
The again, every Tatooine episode is like a western.

Watching The Shannara Chronicles Season Two on Netflix.
Watching The Mandalorian Season Two, Episode One on 10-30-20 on Disney Plus.
Planning on watching American Gods Season Two on DVD (based on American Gods by Neil Gaiman), then Babylon 5 Season One on DVD.

This is the scariest show of 2020."
The most horrific show I have ever watched....

Hopefully it has a happy ending. Fingers crossed. Though I think you guys/gals deserved a better Dem. candidate, IMHO.
Go AOC for 2024 😃

I knew it was a single episode but I had no idea it would go on for so long.

Why do you know so much about our politicians? Most Americans think the king of Australia is Crocodile Dundee.

No way! The King of Australia was Steve Irwin, succeeded by his daughter Bindi, now the Queen of Australia.
I would think Dame Edna would be our Queen

US politics feature heavily on our News networks.
I don't have much time for any of them. But AOC is closest to my own political view. Yes, I'm a pinko 😉 (i.e. a socialist) which is fairly mainstream in our Labor party.

It was a good show.

Still waiting for the ending of that show to pay off some where.

I feel it was one of the best shows that was on TV at the time it was "live". I know people overlook it as a cartoon, star wars or a kids show, but it really was well done. I cried several times in that series.

I also enjoyed Enola Holmes; it’s light and fun, and clearly takes its cues from the Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes movies. I genuinely laughed aloud a couple times.
I was surprised that Cavill wasn’t in it very much, given his presence in the advertising. Looks like he had about 5 days of shooting, and nearly all his scenes are in the trailer. I did think it was amusing that the actor who plays the older brother Mycroft Holmes is actually younger than Cavill.
I’m really impressed with Millie Bobbie Brown every time I see her. She is fully capable of carrying a movie.
