Harshini (hiyer17) | 2 comments Okay, so it's been a while since I read this book (it would have been mid-2000s, I think?) and I'm not fully sure I've remembered this right, but here we go.

From what I can remember the protagonist was a young girl in Japan? China? one of the two, and her entire family had been killed? or something. She eventually ends up dancing for a living, having been tutored by people and ends up dancing to get revenge on the people who killed her family (including her sister or her father who she was really close to). She also falls in love somewhere along the story, but I wasn't too invested in the romance b-plot.

I'm really sorry I don't remember more information!

Harshini, that's a good start. You must add genre (e.g., YA [teen] or adult historical, romance, coming of age?) and more plot details (from your comments) to the topic header (title), so someone can recognize your book from that description alone. Many members only read the headers.

We have thousands of book requests. We close threads with vague headers.

Click the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, there's a "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)
