Greetings Aficionados. It's time to begin thinking about our Group Reads for August. I'm dubbing August's reads The Reading Rainbow edition. For this month's theme, we're looking for new and exciting HORROR books with COLORS in the title.

-Authors/publishers may NOT nominate their own books.
-Books which have been Group Reads/Group Reads with Authors in the past 4 years are not eligible. (Links to previous reads below.)
-Books that receive the most seconds, thirds, etc. have a greater chance of making the final poll.

I’ll second both the Reddening and The Woman in Black. I’ve heard great things about The Reddening, and WIB is one of those classics which I’ve never actually gotten to.

I'll fourth The Reddening .

As we have changed the general parameters for Group Reads to try to discover/introduce newer books and authors instead of just the familiar and classics many of us have already read, The Woman in Black will not qualify for this read.

However, if people are interested in doing a Buddy Read of it I will be happy to help set one up for you.

I know it's a collection instead of a full work, but my suggestion is Blue Wold by Robert R. McCammon. If it needs to be a novel then I second The Red Tree.
