¨I heard what happened, you wanted to spar with Sirena, so yah, ya did¨ Chase says, tilting her head back

Melody shrugs. "She was asking for a fight. They dragged me to their hideout."

¨You were stupid enough to fight¨

"Don't call me stupid," Melody growls.

¨Whatever¨

Melody shoots a bolt at Chase.

Chase lets it hit her, ¨Was that supposed to hurt?¨

Melody smirks. "Nope. I just needed to hit something."

¨Hit me all you want then¨

"Eh I'm fine now. I mean, my arm still hurts a lot, but I don't want to injure you severely that much any more," Melody says. She presses her lips together.

Chase laughs, ¨Injure me!? That's not possible.¨

"Everybody can be injured." Melody examines her nails.

¨Not me, trust me¨

Melody lifts an eyebrow. "Sure you can."

¨Try me¨

Melody shrugs. "Okay." She summons a large bolt of lightning and it crashes down on Chase.

¨I feel nothing¨ Chase says without a scratch on her

Melody wiggles her fingers. "You really think you can't be injured? Just because you can't feel anything, doesn't mean that your body never get injuries."

¨My power is 'Never harmed'¨

Melody nods. "Cool. But do you get hungry? Because hunger is a type of pain, and if you're never harmed, that means you don't experience pain. So, do you get hungry?"

¨No, but I still love food, and I don't get full either, so I could eat all day if I wanted¨

"Cool. What about water? Do you get thirsty?" Melody inquires.

¨My throat will get dry, but that's about it for that¨

"Wait, so how do you not get harmed? Like, what would happen if I dragged a knife down your arm?" Melody asks bitterly, remembering the pain of the knife cutting her skin.

¨It wouldn't do anything. I've tried it before, but the cut leaves almost immediately¨

Melody laughs. "You tried it! That's hilarious!"

¨I wanted to see what would happen¨

Melody shakes her head. "Wow. Just wow." She looks at Chase. "Well, this was a fun conversation."

¨I guess¨ Chase says flatley

Melody grins at her. "Don't you ever smile?"

¨I haven't smiled since I was like 8-9 years old¨

Melody whistles. "Girl, you have to smile sometimes. Otherwise people will think you hate them all. Though you probably do."

¨No, just emotionless since I was 8 or 9 years old¨

"I can't imagine what someone would feel like it they have you a present. Something amazing and then you stare at it and say flatly, 'Thanks.'" Melody throws a ball of electricity at a tree behind Chase.

¨I mean, I use to feel pain mentally ¨

"Use to?" Melody says.

¨As I said, I've been emotionless since I was 8 or 9 years old¨

Melody tsks. "Right. Silly me."

¨Your fine, I'd rather that be forgotten then what use to happen¨

Melody becomes interested. "Ooh, what used to happen?"

Chase sits down, ¨Before I went emotionless, I was bullied for not feeling pain, but I eventually became emotionless, not just because I was bullied, I was called an emotionless freak, heartless, and the loner of the school.¨

Melody purses her lips. "Ouch. That sounds awful."

¨It didn't bother me¨

Melody quirks an eyebrow. "Course not. Because you're you."

¨Yep¨

Melody shoots another tree, unsure of what to say next.

Chase shuts her eyes and lays down.

Melody blinks. "Ooookay I'm assuming this conversation is over."
