"I guess we both have pretty fucked up parents." She said softly in a laughable tone to lighten the mood.

She frowned and rubbed his back. "I'm so sorry Chad."

"You have a place to stay." She patted her bed.

"Nonsense. I've had plenty of sleepovers with boys. Besides, I'll sleep on my couch." She smiled and hopped on her good leg over to the couch and plopped down on it with a grunt.

"Believe it or not, I've been through worse." She sighed but stood up anyway and sat on her bed to make him happy. "Or we can both share the bed." She shrugged.

She laid down beside him and pulled the covers over them. She huddled close to the corner, facing him. "Tell me something interesting." She murmured.

She giggled and shrugged. "I guess. But I mean about you. Something that isn't sad."

She laughed and nodded. "Who isn't?"

"Because of all the people?" She asked.

"That's sweet." She smiled.

"I like big parties. Only because you can get away with a lot more. No one pays attention to you. It's intimate that way. And I like loud music, but enjoy some quiet." She replied.

"But I love the bass in songs." She argued back with a smirk. "Bass drops is what I live for." She laughed.

"Blah!" She made a face.

"Okay. Goodnight." She whispered.

She watched him sleep for a few minutes and caught herself smiling. It wasn't long until she was asleep herself.

Sia was sleeping peacefully beside him. During the night, she scooted closer to him.

She snuggled up against his side and shifted slightly.

"It's official. Sleep feels better than sex." She mumbled.

She giggled and nuzzled her face into the crook of his neck.

"Do you want breakfast?" She whispered against his skin.

"You rest. I'll be right back." She kissed his cheek and rolled out of bed.

She stretched her arms over her head and left her bedroom.

"Okay!" She laughed and skipped down the stairs.

"What would you like to eat?" She asks as she took out some pans and pots.

"Eggs and bacon it is." She smiled and took the right ingredients out of the fridge.

"Hm, not sure." She shrugged.

((Nothing much!))

"Sure." She smiled and dropped bacon onto the pan. "I don't know anyone else who'd go though.

"Oh, because I wanted to." She shrugged and looked over at him and smiled. "Im sorry. I should have asked."

She blushed and bit her lip as he kissed her cheek. "Okay." She smiled at him and flipped over the bacon.

"It'll be done in a moment. How do you like your eggs?" She looked over at him.

She nodded and broke four eggs into another pan and cooked them all sunny side up.

She carried the pan of bacon over to the table where he had the plates and distributed the bacon evenly on each of their plates.

"Good?" She smiled and ate some of hers.

She laughed and shrugged, eating her meal slowly.

She heard commotion from the foyer and immediately ran up behind him and placed a hand over his mouth. "Sssh." She whispered and pressed herself close against him.

She stayed silent as the listened to someone out on the hall, or two people. "Sia? Are you home?" A husky voice said, followed by a small giggle from someone else.

"Y-yeah. I'm home." She called out.

"My dad and his weekly fuck." She whispered back and sighed.

"Ah, okay. You know where I'll be. Don't disturb." He snickered and clambered upstairs. The clicking of heels followed him.

Once she knew he couldn't hear them, she stepped back from Chad and leaned against the table with a look of remorse. "Yup. My dad brings home a new girl every week. Probably girls from his office." She pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration.

"Yeah," She sighed. "My mom knows about it to. But...she's scared of him. So she doesn't do anything. I'm scared of him too." She admitted, biting her lip.

She heard a crash and a laugh from upstairs and cringed. "Yeah, I'd love that actually." She nodded.

"Well, I'd like to change first." She looked down at her shorts and bare feet. "Mind loitering here while I go up to my room? It's nothing I haven't heard before." She shrugged and hugged her arms.

She stuck her tongue out at him playfully and dashed upstairs and into her room. She came back outside wearing skinny jeans, a hoodie and sneakers.
