What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

So I am on the hunt for a book from my childhood that I can't remember the name of, but I remember the general theme. So it was about some generic guy going to a spooky mansion sort of thing and then over the course of the book turns into a monster until he is cured in the last "chapter". The first page was torn out of my copy so I couldn't read it, but I remember on what I could see the main character was in the center of a party full of monsters and Dracula was looking into a mirror with no refection. I remember on the second page the main character was sleeping at the house looking rather scared with a whole bunch of spooky stuff going on around him. I can't remember exactly where, but there were also pages with things happening underwater and a zombie looking at some brain coral, and a chapter about a monster wedding with a sad looking Frankenstein listed as "something blue" to find. And in the final pages it's all a scientist's lab where the main character gets cured of his monster issue. I cannot for the life of me remember what it was, and pretty much everything on Google doesn't ring a bell. I had read it circa 2008-2009, but it was probably 1990's and it certainly was not anything branded like Waldo or I Spy.
