Classic Horror Lovers discussion

Hi. Just posting to call attention to my new novella, Ashes. It's a haunted house tale with a Lovecraftian Mythos tinge to it, with action that shifts between the present day and the English Reformation. The protagonist is a mother trying desperately to see her son released from a Russian prison, doing whatever it takes to raise the necessary money. This includes taking a job overseeing the restoration of a fire-gutted Elizabethan manor house on the North Yorks Moors. During the excavation of the site she discovers a locked box, buried in the rubble, which leads her deeper into the house's tragic history, to an encounter with things that really should be dead.

Recommended if you like Lovecraft, ghost stories, haunted houses and the like. If I've piqued your interest, please consider giving it a try.
