I have read it before. I just really wanted to re-read the series. I will make sure I don't put spoilers until I know we are on the same page.

Ok so before we start, a question: How do you want to do it? A certain number of pages everyday? a certain number of chapters everyday? reading at own pace and comparing? for me, anything is totally fine :)

I actually never thought about that. How about 5 chapters a day? Is that too much or too little? There is 25 chapters total.

Then we should let each other know when we have read the five chapters and we will discuss! If you really, really want to read more (you may feel the urge to) you can but we will only discuss the five chapters from that day. Sound good?

I really like the idea and of it and I don't know how to feel about Aspen..

I understand that Aspen feels guilty that he can't support America because of his caste but he just pushed her away and told her to enter into the selection while he still loves her. Now she is chosen and really has to leave him. Maybe if they both were in higher castes they would have stayed together and she wouldn't have entered the selection.

Yes at first I thought he was cute but now Idk what to think.. But I like America and understand that she didnt want to enter the Selection..

Yeah she resists for a while. Everyone is telling her to enter and she eventually gives in. Of course she is chosen.
I think the castes are interesting. It is difficult to become a higher caste unless one marries or something like that so Aspen can't just enter into another profession easily while he is trying to support his family. It is kind of sad.
I like May, America's sister. She is adorable.

I love how America comes to care for Maxon. When Aspen arrives it changes everything for her. I am Team Maxon so I can't help myself.

Hahaha yeah he should be. I guess he just feels bad that he can't give her nice things but he didn't react the right way. It is funny because Maxon always gives America gifts.
