I have so much stress and my Tylenol puts me to sleep. I doze off and wake up feeling like shit and cranky and depressed. So I feel you 😕
Very excited to read this tomorrow with you guys <3
My sleeping has been all out of whack too, ugh.

Sometimes I like going into a book knowing next to nothing, other than genre etc.. ;)
Ok ill start in a few min :)

7% who in the hell goes out on icy mountain roads?! I hope they aren't looking for a wendigo cause that it will eat them right up!

Anyway, unprepared dumb chicks looking for a wendigo or the like? Sounds fun, I'll start this afternoon while the halflings are at swimming lessons. :)
Just finished, it reads really quickly, for the most part I only paused to cook some lunch. Glad to see you ladies join!
I finished it. There’s a chapter from another one of her books included so I’m not sure if the story is all 53 pages or not. I gave it 3 stars. It’s ok but the cover is the best part of the book. I did like the ending but I still couldn’t get over the timing they picked for this little trip.
These buddy reads have been the highlight of my summer, I'm so grateful and thankful, and lucky!

When I read that they were wearing jeans I knew that those dummies are in for a ride :P .. I skimmed through the 2nd thing since it was just a sample.

I loved The Ritual by Nevill, I think about it pretty much anytime I'm in a wooded area haha and I think you're correct, its always the guy who twists his ankle first.
Actually this short story makes me want to read more winter time horror, I'm digging it lately.

^ I love books that stay with me, like a childhood memory of a delicious meal...these days I'm trying to read slower so that I retain more but really good books sear themselves into my brain lol.

I know what you mean. I love good memories

I had that at some point, maybe it was in my Kindle unlimited library reads, not sure but I've wanted to read it too. This conversation is making me want to re-read Abandon by Blake Crouch, this story is engrossing and kinda wild and also has lots of nature and snow elements. Its a little long but quite a read.

Probably gets confusing with the 6 covers these guys run for each one of their books.
This buddy read left me in such a good mood for reading, best feeling.

Krystal and some people are going to read The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires in mid August. I should've made that one last longer but i have no self control.

Also considering The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires, I saw the comments flying by and got so jelly, ah I want to read everything now lol...

Just finished this story. I found the writing to be quite good, but (view spoiler) Mildly entertaining but nothing that will stick with me.
The southern book club’s guide is so good. I hope you get to join in. I love all the Grady Hendrix does.
Yes Melissa, we're here as long as it takes everyone to read it :) I had time so jumped on the chance!
