The Book Was Better discussion

This is one movie I am read to go see even before I read the book since I know the producers changed a lot of the Christian content in the movie. I have a feeling the movie will be amazing, and then reading the book after will be another step up from the great movie! :)


Also....Jackie from Four Brothers is in it...so YAY! haha

Dana...I hate to burst your bubble, but for me - and a lot of other viewers - the movie was a disaster, and the book was fantastic. But the movie might seem better if you don't read the book...?

Oh no!! Sad to hear that... I don't know anyone who has seen it yet, but I think my boss was going to see it soon. She was taking about it before I left for Ohio. I know there are some changes, so if I do see it I will be seeing it before I read it so I can still like it well enough....

I got the book for Christmas and heard it was really good, heard the movie was really good as well. I guess I should prob see the movie b4 reading the book, it takes me forever to get through a book (esp a thick one). My stepson (13 yrs old btw)can read a book in a matter of a day or two depending on the length, that's an amazing ability to be able to read like that. I wish I could read like that, I would be able to get thru my entire library in no time..No joke, the kid can read like an 800 page book in a day or two!! I dunno how he does it..now that's impressive
