Reads With Friends discussion

Requested this from library. Hopefully it will come in this week.

Just blasted through these 30+ pages and am already hooked. I definitely want to know what happened 5 years ago and how it's all going to go down. I think this one is going to be a light and funny summer read, which I'm happy about in these colder months :)

So far I think it's cute- thought the guy was a jerk for the way he dumped her. Yeah it wasn't over the phone or via facebook. But I thought it was slightly insensitive.

I really love this friendship dynamic and I hope we get to see more Sophie and Gemma. I think the story is cute so far and I'm really intrigued to hear about Gemma's past. I keep forgetting that this isn't a stand alone but a trilogy!

YES. I really hope Sophie ends up in the Hamptons for most of the summer :D:D - the titles for the books are SO CUTE. I'm glad it's going to be a trilogy (I mean, if it ends up being good, lol)

I could see that! I love them both :) Although Morgan's books under her real name are my all-time favorite :D

I've only read Since You've Been Gone. I want to read the others.

I finally got this from the library. Only read the first 3 chapters. I was a bit annoyed at first. Yup it's the name thing again. What the heck is the name Gemma? At first I thought a little kid was calling her grandma. It took a few pages to realize that was her name. I hate when authors do that. I even looked up the word in the dictionary which didn't get me anywhere.

Ok on page 32 it says I haven't checked with my father or Bruce. Is the dad gay? Is that why he left her mom?

I thought he was gay at first too but I don't think he is. The dad just rooms with Bruce unless that will be reveled later on in the story.
