2025 Reading Challenge discussion

Aiming for 50+ books.
So far, finished my first book this year If on a Winter's Night a Traveler (review on blog).
Finished the penultimate book in the Churchminster series Dirty Tricks. Have just started the last one, but I am flagging a little.
Started Clarissa, or, the History of a Young Lady as part as a buddy read, hoping to finish it in about six months, although I am currently trying to finish some other rather large novels including:
The Pillars of the Earth as well as The Small House at Allington. Again, I am hoping to finish the Barchester Chronicles when I can.

Oh, I have also just finished Night Film which I am looking forward to reviewing as it was bonkers.

Review of Night Film up, just finished and reviewed The Secret Rooms: A True Gothic Mystery, which has been on my reading list for forever.Glad to have finally finished it.

Finished The Pillars of the Earth which I really enjoyed and Horse Play which was a bit too cheesy! I liked the Churchminster series, I'll probably read others if/when they come out, but I'm ready to start on some new books!

Just finished The Parrots, a surreal Italian novel about three authors competing for a literary prize.

Finished and reviewed Bittersweet. Not my favourite book of the year, I have to say.

Finished Sherlock: Chronicles. Lost my reading mojo for a week or so, now I have been a bit more busy but a trip to the library has been fruitful. Finally finished Arctic Summer. This was a good book but I was not really in the mood to be that engaged with it. Getting on well with Wolf Hall, should be finished with this soon.
