But my birthstone is Sapphire, so that should be easy to find a blue cover!
Im with Michele... August girls unite. Green...well, Exodus has green in the cover, Michele, you could use that...but I've already read that. 💁♀️

But my birthstone is Sapphire, so that should be easy to find a blue cover!"

Or should find a different one!! School is starting so things are crazy and too many decisions LOL PLUS this August birthday make me feel old! :P

I'm green too so I'm going with

I still have last month's book to read as well. My library loan expired and I had to put it on hold again.

Trust me girl...you'll whiz through that book and catch up to me!! I love being stalked by you...come on and join the fun!!

Sounds good girlie!

April is my birth month, so I need a book with white cover if I am going traditional. So , I have decided to read

Catia--I'm also April and I'm picking a white cover, but as T. pointed out. there are different colors of diamonds, so...

Read the Rivals and let us know what you think.
I read God-Shaped Hole and really enjoyed it. It is really quirky and intense. It is not really an HEA. I had to read it in chunks and take breaks, but it has everything from laughter to tears.

And I actually started it! Liking it so far....may have even gotten me out of my slump!!

It was a 4.5 star read for me, but it's highly emotional. Through 80% of it, I read with a giant lump in my throat.
Best line ever....You make death beautiful!! Gaaaaaah!!!

It was a 4.5 star read for..."
It took me a minute! I was like whattt?? I haven't even read that! Glad you liked it!

It's pulled me out of a serious book funk, and I give it 4-1/2 stars, and if not for some editing issues, it would definitely been 5 for me.

4 Stars! It was light and refreshing with really no angst and I didn't even realize the H was a professional hockey player before I started it, which I loved!

I felt the same way...it was not as good as The Deal.

Finished. After book one being a favorite romance of 2018, this was the disappointing sequel slump. 3.5 Stars.

Robin's choice ~ Birthstone cover! Choose a book with its cover the color of your birthstone.
This will be the discussion thread for all our August Challenge books we read this month. You can read as many as you'd like, but please let me know which one you're picking!
What we do need is for you to sign up, and let us know you intend to participate before the 5th of August and then, (this is the important part), come back and let us how you rated it or what you thought of it before 1159 p.m. of the last day of the month. That's it. Pretty simple, really.
(The last time we did this, we all used our massive TBR piles and made it a rule that this was a TBR challenge...I'm forgoing that rule this time, because-fun! I want this to be fun and not a slog to get through, you know? However, you certainly can stick to that rule, if you want to.)
Each month that you participate and finish on/before the last day of the month, you will get your name added to a list that will be eligible to be randomly selected from at the beginning of 2021 for a $10 Amazon gift card.
*Pay no attention to this spoiler right now, this is just my list of who participated last month in alphabetical order...because my OCD compels me and this makes it slightly easier in the grand scheme of things, LOL!
