What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

It’s about a girl who has a lot of power, her father takes her to some friends and there she finds her soulmate. They then travel to a parallel world of soulmates through the strings, you can only find the place if you are from there and people leave this place to find their soulmates in other worlds and bring them back. There are more then one parallel world, however the main other is a bad placed where there is a guy and he is bad.

I can also remember that when the Soulmates (main characters) get separated by the stings it hurts them. In this book/series they only travel through the strings.

The people who are gifted to travel through the strings are called travellers (i think).

I really hope someone can help me find this book, i read it about 3yrs ago! Thanks :)
