Pride and Prejudice question

Because it is a profound and insightful piece of literature that gives the world a glimpse into the life of a fictional character Elizabeth Bennett. I like this wonderful book because it is like living in another era in a different person's body. Pride and Prejudice captured me and didn't let me go until I finished. I literally CANNOT understand how you can't like it! Care to elaborate? I little bit of polite banter never hurt anyone.
